Is a LEED® Gold certified building located in the heart of the capital of Texas, one of the most affordable cities in America. The convention center has a convenient downtown location, between the shores of Lady Bird Lake and historic Sixth Street.
Pretty standard spacious convention centre. What I liked most is the skillful signs to direct you to the correct place. Very helpful when you're lost and need to get to a meeting/seminar quickly
Unlike so many convention centres or conference hotels, it's near cool, trendy Austin restaurants. Just walking distance from 6th street and the Austin bats
You don't feel at the end of ur trip that you've seen just a tiny financial district chunk of the city! You get a good sense of some fun parts of Austin even if you're listening to papers from 8am-5pm
Lots of bathrooms. And giant convention halls. What else to say? Lots of good events here.
Rooms for days. Make time to get places.
Great venue with a lot to do within walking distance. Check out 6th st. and the 2nd st. district for fun and dining. Take the short walk to the Congress Street bridge to watch the bats at dusk.
Cool convention center. Tons of space and cool design.
Nice place but the most boring part of SXSW.
Despite being a convention center, this place is pretty cool. Session rooms can get cold.
The layout is really awkward.
No concealed weapons allowed
Not nearly enough power outlets, and the whole place seems kind of warehouse-y.
Free wifi is a huge plus

SXSW is one of the best experiences I've ever had in my life! I'll definitely be back.
Awesome convention emphasizing music on the evolution of audio in a mobile world! Linkin Park in the house!
Avoid the escalators, take stairs or elevators. Will get you from session to seminar way faster.
Use the stairs on the Trinity side to get between floors 3 and 4 when SXSW is doing crowd control.
Don't forget your breakfast taco on your way in

It holds people. Lots and lots of people. And hipsters. Lots and lots of hipsters.
