People tend to check in during these times:
Flagship lounge in Heathrow.
Disappointing. Harsh strip lighting; less than wholesome food; not very relaxing
Quiet enough, although it can get really crowded and it's hard to find anywhere to seat.
Good food and drink selection, more spacious than the First Lounge.
As far as lounges in the US go this is pretty good. Good bar selection, it's all self service too
Slowest wifi in the world;(
Okay OneWorld...I'll just get on the plane with wet hair instead of risk this medieval fire torture device
Always slightly disappointing as the food selection is so poor - you would hope for more from NYC's main hub airport. Still, they have showers which is always a nice feature.
The supper service prior to the overnight flights to London was lacking something good.
Better than it used tp be a while back, food has improved, but then again it couldn't have been worse.
Decent selection of wine
Premium liquor a plus but slow wifi a definite minus
Horrible lounge with even more horrible people to go with it.
Look for outlets in the ground under flaps the same colour as the carpet.
You can request the staff to make a cup noodle for you as the hot food (any good for that matter) is pretty sparse.
I can see that the wifi password hasn't changed on 6 months. So much so that my phones and laptop remembered it :-) just sit back relax and enjoy a good drink. On that note...
One of the few lounges at JFK where the printer in the business center actually works (who prints stuff any more, any way!). Also, has early preview of British accents.
Not a lot of food, but good WiFi and comfortable spots to work. Oh, and beer on tap...
One hour delay 😢
Nice'ish lounge but nothing compared to the Ana lounge at Narita.
This is without doubt the worst lounge ever! Nothing much to eat except a few sandwiches. The decor is crap. Qantas don't let BA standards pull you down!
No pre-flight supper for you if you're flying on ANA
If travelling Club, pre flight dining is available after 4pm. Come to observe peoples table manors vanish. Slurping soup, eating with ones mouth open and using cell phones in company. Manors are free.
Just like in London, you can ask a passing table clearer for a glass of champagne!
Love the strawberry water here!
Nicer than the first galleries. They have awesome cookies and chocolate jars in the club lounge.
Grab a leather seat over in front of the flatscreen LED. They all have plugs and tables.
Almost as nice as the LHR T5 lounges. Good drinks selection and very pleasant hot buffet dinner for Club Word passengers.
I love how everyone leaves the wifi password in their tips, like its not published for everyone on all the screens in the lounge...!
Wifi password is now: lasvegas
Apparently they don't let kids below 21 in here anymore
Want a glass of bubbly? Then you have to ask for it, it's not in the bar area like the other alcoholic beverages.
Kinda lame especially compared to places like London. Real food for business class passengers only. The rest of us get cookies and apples.
The BA iPhone app gives you the lounge password. It is Budapest at the moment but it changes from time to time.
Excellent service. Snacks and drinks in abundance.
thank you *so* much to the kind people that posted the wifi password, just had an hour of skyping my girlfriend who i've just left behind in the US and am missing very much ^_^
Enough room and nice decor but the food selection is very poor compared to the Heathrow BA lounge. But better then the one at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam
Kind of shoddy how they advertise meals but then refuse access if you're gold club not traveling in business. Don't say there's a meal if there's not.
Glennfidich 15 or VSOP
A lot of space but poor food and beverage offer.
In the older days, airport lounges had food. Very few still do. Here you'll find water, OJ straight out of a box, crackers, cheese and olives. Come prepared or eat outside before entering.
Oh hey, while you're waiting for your flight, why not treat yourself to a little Glenlivet 15 yr?
T5 in London far superior to this utilitarian room. Oh well. No Elemis Spa.
August 2012 CX/BA First Class Lounge wifi password is "arabia" - enjoy! :-)
Still the world's only BA First Lounge which is inferior to the Business Lounge. A cheap, poorly furnished, dingy hole with poor food and evn worse WiFi.
Elemis spa and pre-flight supper restaurant for club world travelers and gold members
The Nero d'Avolo with the screw cap is quite good.
No hot items for brekkie, just cereal, pastries, fruit and toast
Ignore tips about wifi. The password changes daily and is well signed on arrival and inside the lounge.
Pick up a Japanese onigiri (rice ball) for a snack.
