People tend to check in during these times:
Oh hey, while you're waiting for your flight, why not treat yourself to a little Glenlivet 15 yr?
Ignore tips about wifi. The password changes daily and is well signed on arrival and inside the lounge.
The bar here is pretty impressive, even for someone who only drinks occasionally.
Grab a leather seat over in front of the flatscreen LED. They all have plugs and tables.
In the older days, airport lounges had food. Very few still do. Here you'll find water, OJ straight out of a box, crackers, cheese and olives. Come prepared or eat outside before entering.
If travelling Club, pre flight dining is available after 4pm. Come to observe peoples table manors vanish. Slurping soup, eating with ones mouth open and using cell phones in company. Manors are free.
Get a free 15min massage @ The Elemis Spa if you ask at the main lounge reception!
'ello! You might want to keep an eye out for R&B semistar Craig David, who has been seen here on a Tuesday. Why is Tuesday important? Because you know what Craig David does Wednesday. Awwww yeah
Don't eat if you're passing through the BA lounge. So many treats in here.
Get the wifi password at the checkin counter
Almost as nice as the LHR T5 lounges. Good drinks selection and very pleasant hot buffet dinner for Club Word passengers.
Kinda lame especially compared to places like London. Real food for business class passengers only. The rest of us get cookies and apples.
Glennfidich 15 or VSOP
Wifi password is now denver. Also gotta love a lounge with self serve beer taps. Whoever came up with that idea is a genius.
Try the beer from the pub area from bluepoint brewery. It's great beer
WiFi is horribly slow. And may be the only First Lounge that is a less pleasant place to be than the main Galleries Lounge. Weird.
Eat before you get here
Stick your feet in the zen fountain
Kind of shoddy how they advertise meals but then refuse access if you're gold club not traveling in business. Don't say there's a meal if there's not.
Elemis spa and pre-flight supper restaurant for club world travelers and gold members
Self serve bar.. As if it couldn't get any better, self serve bloody mary bar. Always love this lounge.
Give the First lounge a miss, it's dire, and head for the Terraces lounge. The wifi tonight is slower than ever
Before you eat or get yourself a drink walk straight ahead and check out the Elemis travel spa.
Why don't they ever keep the hummus chilled?
Woah. Lounge has stepped up a few notches since last time I was here. Stocked bar and treats. Wifi faster.
Ask for a glass of champagne they keep it out back
Use the computers as the Wi-fi is woefully slow,
No food in here. Go slum it in Business Lounge for grub and then swan back.
They will come ensure that you were randomly profiled. That's how efficient ba terraces staff are.
Okay OneWorld...I'll just get on the plane with wet hair instead of risk this medieval fire torture device
Always slightly disappointing as the food selection is so poor - you would hope for more from NYC's main hub airport. Still, they have showers which is always a nice feature.
The supper service prior to the overnight flights to London was lacking something good.
Better than it used tp be a while back, food has improved, but then again it couldn't have been worse.
Decent selection of wine
Premium liquor a plus but slow wifi a definite minus
Horrible lounge with even more horrible people to go with it.
Look for outlets in the ground under flaps the same colour as the carpet.
You can request the staff to make a cup noodle for you as the hot food (any good for that matter) is pretty sparse.
I can see that the wifi password hasn't changed on 6 months. So much so that my phones and laptop remembered it :-) just sit back relax and enjoy a good drink. On that note...
One of the few lounges at JFK where the printer in the business center actually works (who prints stuff any more, any way!). Also, has early preview of British accents.
Not a lot of food, but good WiFi and comfortable spots to work. Oh, and beer on tap...
One hour delay 😢
Nice'ish lounge but nothing compared to the Ana lounge at Narita.
This is without doubt the worst lounge ever! Nothing much to eat except a few sandwiches. The decor is crap. Qantas don't let BA standards pull you down!
No pre-flight supper for you if you're flying on ANA
Just like in London, you can ask a passing table clearer for a glass of champagne!
Love the strawberry water here!
Nicer than the first galleries. They have awesome cookies and chocolate jars in the club lounge.
I love how everyone leaves the wifi password in their tips, like its not published for everyone on all the screens in the lounge...!
Wifi password is now: lasvegas
