Nice decoration, but the cocktails are really really bad

Great environment that will take you to a long-gone Nyc. Good selection of vodkas.

    Racky Ross · October 31

It can get annoying when this place gets crowded on weekend nites..but delicious Mules

Who doesn't want to drink a Gin And Tonic in a tea cup?

    Josh Mateo · September 23
  • Alyssa F.

So cool! Everyone looks like they're drinking tea BUT IT'S REALLY ALCOHOL

    Alyssa Foote · September 2
  • Ben H.

They serve Corona bottles in a brown bag because, you know, that's what the did during prohibition

    Ben Huff · August 27
  • Zhenshuo F.

There's only ~10 cocktails on rhe menu... and all 4 drinks we ordered were way too sweet

Cocktails served in tea cups and beers in paper bags

  • Stacy K.

Nice spot to bring friends from out of town. Snake thru an alley and grab a drank in a cup✌🏼

    Stacy Kimball · June 25
  • Fati H.

Cool decor but drinks are overpriced & served in a tiny teacup with a ton of ice. You literally have a sip & you are done.

    Fati Hussain · June 23
  • Lee L.

Cocktails served in tea cups help create the illusion of a real prohibition-era speakeasy. NYU college chicks, not so much.

    Lee Lawrence · June 23
  • Collette S.

Cocktails are served in teacups, draft beer in coffee mugs and bottled beer in paper bags. So fun! Gets crowded so expect to stand. One of the original NYC speakeasies.

    Collette S · June 21
  • Mélanie V.

    The entrance is great

    Mélanie Vecchio · June 20
  • Harry

Operating on the premises of an original Prohibition speakeasy, drinks are served on tea cups and mugs as a tribute. Not the best cocktails you'll have, but the decor and setting make up for it.

    Harry · June 6
  • Marc S.

Don't order a complicated cocktail here. This is not the place for that. Whiskey neat is more like it here.

    Marc S · May 26
  • Anissa

Head down the stairs and get transported to a Prohibition era speakeasy where cocktails are served in cups! Get the Dirty Rascal if you like spicy drinks!

    Anissa · May 22
  • Jaycob B.

The drinks are just ok, but the decor is pretty cool. It's a really nice place to go early in the evening before the crowd rolls in, and just fin to get into

    Jaycob Burns · May 15
  • ZZubin

A nice concept but unfortunately the crowd is a bit young. Bartenders are a bit rude. Drinks are a bit small and a bit too basic.

    ZZubin · May 5

Live music, free swing dance class

This place is the fucking coolest! You have to find it! I loved the Jack Honey Cooler

    Gregory Morehead · April 16
  • Reeves

Totally overrated especially if you don't want your bourbon in a tea cup

    Reeves · April 6
  • Saleem

Try-hard and got-it-wrong "speakeasy" where everything is wrong. E.g. Instead of straining cocktails to limit dilution, they're poured into ice-filled tea cups, which are a dumb novelty.

    Saleem · April 6
  • Abigail A.

Overrated. Young crowd and mediocre cocktails. Trying way too hard.

  • Rachel I.

Between the cozy couches & the fireplace, I could live here. Impresses all my out of towers (are you sure we're supposed go in here? Why are we in a creepy alley?) overpriced drinks are tiny but yummy

    Rachel Ivy · March 22
  • Ben G.

Feels sophisticated yet ancient, like a vampire's bachelor pad.

    Ben G · March 12

Weak drinks for a cocktail bar but a good atmosphere

    Cool speakeasy, no animal fur/skin

    Chris Konecny · March 1
  • Dan L.

Get here early, it's packed around 9pm. Every other Saturday there is an 1930s re-enactment troupe performing early, you're encouraged to dress '30s style and interact with performers.

    Dan Lam · March 1
  • John A.

Decent cocktails served in coffee cups. Not a mixologist dream like other speakeasy, but does the job. Recommend: PTZ, and Jack Daniels Honey Ginger.

    John Antos · February 1
  • Sadik A.

Cool place, feel like 1920's. enjoy!

Cool little speak easy that's fun to take friends from out of town to. Walk through a courtyard and into the vintage library hwre you'll drink in teacups. Bees knees is delish; strong cocktails.

    Meg Farmer · October 6, 2014
  • Inderpreet S.

Gets really packed. The cocktails are served speakeasy style and prepared dive bar style. However hey have a fire place and live music.

    Inderpreet Singh · September 16, 2014
  • 💎T

Really cute speakeasy after you trek down the stairs and through a suspicious alley. Drinks are around $12 and are served in a teacup so they're pretty expensive for the amount you're getting.

    💎T · September 16, 2014
  • Francis U.

True speakeasy as. Its hard to find and entrance looks like gutter. The inside is beautiful and antique. Very cool vibe. Drinks are small but strong and tasty.

    Francis Udler · September 15, 2014
  • Sean M.

I thought this place was lame with its tea cups and beers in paper bags. It still is. I just got really drunk one night and came here a 2nd time. It was cool. I'm still eh on the douche gimmicks.

    Sean McKenzie · September 14, 2014

    Mediocre drinks in ugly cups

    Justin Martin · September 13, 2014

Great cocktails and a low key vibe. Was there on a random Monday and they had a live jazz band and serious dancing. Legit

Cozy speakeasy serving drinks in teacups. Only slightly douchy but a good place to start the night.

    Jessie Li · August 30, 2014
  • Max K.

I'm seeing a lot of hippidy-dippity bullshit here. Wack music, and bullshit tufted couches - give me a good ratio in a cocktail and something with a beat and I'm in. Dope concept, crap execution.

    Max Kessler · August 21, 2014
  • Daniele C.

    Avoid, especially during weekends.

    Daniele Codega · August 17, 2014
  • Lori L.

Good luck finding your way into this modern-day speakeasy. Cocktails are served in tiny teacups, which many will find more overpriced than not.

    Lori Luo · August 11, 2014
