Eric AndersenMarch 9Be aware that the shuttle to and from the Rental Car Facility is quite slow as they need to pack it full in both directions. Plan for this to add an extra 30 minutes!

Speed of security has greatly improved with the new design.
Southwest terminal 11 sucks with not one power outlet that works!!!
Cheaper flights but a pain to get to from DC. Fly out of DCA if you can.

If you are leaving someone at the airport, there are no places to eat, just a Starbucks and a Dunkin dunuts. But if you are traveling, there are more places to eat passing security.

- Gachi Sushi, a rare thing here in BWI airport Southwest Terminal A..they treat you like a customer that matters. And listen to the order! Oh yeah, excellent Sushi too.
There are no good coffee options in the D concourse, so plan accordingly.
Erin said this is the only airport where she has seen wooden rocking chairs. I have seen them at several airports, including Boston Logan International Airport. You need to travel more often!

Steven MartinezDecember 30, 2015Make sure to have your phone charged, they don't have charging stations in each chair like in other airports.
You can get from the light rail to your gate in less than an hour if you're quick on an early morning.
Brand new C concourse is in operation, but don't walk all the way down there expecting anything to be open.. All the shops were closed by 9pm... Had to go all the way back to A, just to get a water.
Devyn DeLoeraOctober 11, 2015If you arrive early or have layover time, check out the Silver Diner. Pretty good for airport food. Nice place to sit and charge up. They also have free wifi & I had a whole meal for $8 with tip. #WIN
TSA-pre check line closes at any time. So if u have TSA Pre-check then don't be sure that u will make it quickly thru the security. And yes they make u remove the laptops.

If you have TSA Precheck, it doesn't matter. You have to go through regular. Annoying.

Harland HenryMarch 14, 2015After a failed attempt to land in DCA Flt 712 was in the air for 2 hours. We just landed in Baltimore to refuel. No word on if United will fly us back to DC. Weather bad so glad we at least landed
