Modern Mexican Small Plates in the Heart of Georgetown. Happy Hour Served Sunday-Friday 4-7 pm. Great Summer Specials every day of the week!
Pork belly taco is to die for. The margarita pitchers are a bit small for the price but the drinks were strong.
Best Guacamole in D.C
Great margaritas on tap. Love the chicken tacos (cheap at happy hour). Fun atmosphere.
First you're like, "What? Shrimp fundido? Seafood and cheese? That sounds gross!" And then you're like, "Hi, ten more, please." Also the tuna taquitos.
Blood orange margaritas are great
Dinner with Erin
The worse fake Mexican food of all time poor service bad experience don't so it!!!
The El Bandolero Margarita is $5 during happy hour and *strong*!
Incredible guacamole with nachos, tasty & fresh
This place is the bees knees... Get the empanadas and the gueso fundido
Really good crab tacos but not much else
Came after midnight...dark bar, rap music but knowledgable bartenders. Craving guacamole but the kitchens closed
The crispy Brussels are off the hook! Alambres (hanger steak) and tuna taquitos are delish. Enchilada verde great option for veggies.
Grab the Pineapple Fruta Margarita!! Brock makes it best!!!!!!!!!!!
The rumors are true: this place struggles. Mediocre food, everything over-priced, bad service, and no soul.
Not impressed with the menu or the venue. The servings were tiny and overpriced. And my friend, that ate with us, got sick later that night from what he ate here.
Portions are very small and expensive but the foods are great! Must try nachos and alambres. I also had the best quesedilla ever! Good job!
el mata amigos is delicious! must try!!!!!!! also the bar staff is so friendly and helpful. will definitely come back. I recommend to all
Amazing food, worst service.
Bandolero in Georgetown suspended with "lots of flies." no hot water, food at risky temps. @wusa9. Passed reinspection. Passed reinspection. Unidentified worker blamed it on landlord dispute
Never been more dissatisfied with service at a restaurant waited an hour and a half and still haven't been served all our food. #absurd
Ask for Brock! Best bartender ever!
The El Dorado is pretty awesome as well as the Casa En Fuego. Que Bueno¡
Warning: Margaritas are actually just Tequila straight with a splash of lime. I'm not complaining though ;) Food is overpriced. It's basically tapas, not meals. Taste good though. Service is slow.
Not great service. Time between dishes was long. Waiters were not really paying attention. Also, since the kitchen is open we could see the prep & while cutting apples a woman kept eating slices.
Go for happy hour only. Pork taco and guacamole were great for $5. Lamb was ok. Wouldn't pay full price here.
Really one of the best brunches in the city
the Jesus Malverde is extraordinary
The food tastes good but the portions are ridiculously small. You have to order many dishes so you can feel full. Very expensive for what you get.
This place is fantastic. Try the Red Snapper Ceviche and the Tuba Taquitos.
Get the snapper ceviche as an app- it is far better than the tuna tartar!
The suckling pig tacos are fantastic.
Try the tuna taquito, the queso fundido and the suckling pig. In that order.
Fresh guac, unreal snapper ceviche, and great pork tacos.
Suckling Pig tacos are to die for!!!
Solid ceviche but Jesus the service at the half-empty bar is awful.
What everyone else said: they sure pour their cocktails heavy!
Horrific serving size. $12 for 2 very tiny tacos? Are you kidding me? If you live in dc, keep walking. Portion size is bordering on abusive. Even the very high quality margaritas can't make up for it.
small portions...but the crazy corn is GOOD!
Fantastic Mexican small plates! The suckling pig tacos and mahi mahi especially
Suckling pig tacos and raw tuna taquitos are amazing. Would highly recommend ordering 2-3 small plates per person.
This will be misspelled because I'm already drunk -- but that's the point... Extremely heavy pours and innovative drinks. Don't try them all in the same night or you'll end up sleeping it off outside.
Absolutely delicious! But definitely over priced for the small portion... Great for an appy!
The service leaves so much to be desired I can see why they add in 30 percent tip, otherwise they wouldn't get one. I will never return.
Pricy, but not too bad if sharing as a light lunch. The Chicken BBQ tacos and Crispy Yuca are must-trys.
Ok service. Food was good. The air was out - so not a very comfortable dining experience.
Siki pak dip & suckling pig tacos = yum but overall this place is about small, over-priced tapas. Ideal for a drink and a snack IF you're already in Gtown.
