Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park is Manhattan's first and only free admission ice skating rink.
Prices at Ice Bites are alright, and the skating experience on the rink is worth the cost (free).
If you want to skate comfortably, You should go to there in the morning. This rink is very crowded in afternoon.
Often long lines but it moved quickly. The rink is super crowded in the evening. Come in the morning for more space.
Go in the evening. The lights are magical, and it's less crowded than Rock Center.
Almost $50 for two sets of skates and locker (required to put shoes/bags in)... kinda crazy, but def the cheapest ice rink in Midtown!! ha
Ice was very wet today even though temps have been cold. I think the cooling system needs an early season tune up
Fun to break out the skates and do a few laps under the Christmas lights and impressive Bank of America Tower. Be warned: almost as crowded as Times Square.
$19 skate rentals during peak dates, but it gets less crowded during mealtimes
Park get transformed into a Winter Village with skating rink, open-air market and a winter themed restaurant. Through Jan 3.
Bring your own skates and skate for free!
Free admission to the skating rink if you have your own skating equipment. $15 for skate rentals but it becomes $19 during the peak of the season (Thanksgiving week til New Year's week).
Free admission, $15 skate rental
In these freezing temperatures, you can find beauty at the fountain. Be sure to make a visit before things warm up!
Want to skate freely? Get by 9 or during a rain. Otherwise please be patient.
Crowded and they raised the price of the skates. Bring your own to skate free.
Bring your own skates and don't be afraid of the lines;)))
Ice skating near the library. Awesome!
Large rink & great food.
Not as big a rink as Wollman, and the views while terrific are not as great. The skating however is free (skate rentals are extra), and before 9:30 the weekend crowds aren't bad.
Great atmosphere. Good food!!
Free skating (need to rent shoes if you don't own a pair), holiday shops and pretty Christmas tree. Bundle up and enjoy some time out here.
Great day ice skating!!!!
SKIP IT. This place is crazy (at least on a Sunday afternoon). The ice was so packed (with lots of falling children) that it was hard to enjoy/even skate...especially if you're an experienced skater.
Think of the ice like a great battlefield. Your not-so-sure-footed friends are dropping all around you, and all you can do is keep your cool and zig-zag around them, hoping you won't be next!
Definitely get the hot choco!
Bring your own lock to save $9
U get 10 percent off with ure BOA card
Free, that's right bitches. I didn't stutter. FREE.
Get your skate on. Don't let the recent violence deter you.
Free admission, but so crowded on weekends, it's difficult to even skate. Try going on a Monday or Wednesday for more space, especially if you want to teach someone else to skate!
Come during Open if you can get up early, & skate till the afternoon...it's always not crowded! xOD
Got to go early to avoid the crowds
Your unlocked scene : The Chase
If you bring your own skates, you can skate for free. Otherwise, it's a $13 rental charge.
Worst customer service either so definitely bring your own skates so you can avoid the inattentive staff because they will avoid you!
If you're a first time skater, the wall is your best friend! :0)
Dangerously crowded Saturday evening + rowdy teens with no manners + 98% amateurs = one stretcher rescue/hour. Stick to weekday mornings if you don't want to be traumatized.
Personal space is at a premium.
Leave the office and grab your skates before the noon rush. Best work out for a mind in a bind!
"The Kid" is here to help you. He may seem arrogant but he knows how to skate.
Be prepared to wait on the line for an hour in the cold
Most shops open at noon!
Workers get to charge their phone but customers don't. Even though you pay $14 for skates.
Can't charge your phone here even if your phone is about to die. They said it will blow up the circuit!. My charger takes in about 50hz that wouldn't blow the circuit.
Don't rent the blue ice skates, they will hurt and blister your feet
Our men love to bring their skates and hit the ice here at @BryantParkNYC. If you don't own skates, rentals are available!
Hands down one of my FAV places in NYC during the winter! FREE 100% if you own your own skates!!!
Checked in twice and got a free hot Chocolate!
