Pit beef.... is really tender, tasty and comes in a good portion for what you are paying. Bbq beans where great with smash potatoes. Bit expensive but good atmosphere and view of Saint Paul.

You have to sit at table 71 with view to St. Pauls Cathedral and..... no matter how much you ate you have to try the White Chocolate Cheesecake with Blood Orange Sherbet

  • Kris T.

Meat, Meat and more Meat! The Fillet steak with bone marrow and smoken bernaise sauce is one steak that I'll certainly remember. The pit smoked pulled pork is also amazing, not to mention the ribs!!

    Kris Tait · April 18, 2013

Friendly, helpful and well-informed staff are on hand to help you out with your meaty choices and they also have their own butchers adjacent, where you can pick up British meat, poultry and game. · October 26, 2011
  • Liam T.

Fantastic food with an amazing eye level view of St. Paul's Cathedral and the waiters are helpful & polite. Overall, the food is excellent and reasonably priced, unlike their expensive drinks menu!

    Liam Taaffe · December 21, 2011
  • Bijan Y.

Good cocktails and bar staff. The rest really seems like pot luck. Some of the non-meat dishes are trying too hard. Get the St. Paul views if you can to make up for failures elsewhere.

    Bijan Young · January 18, 2015
  • Lydia B.

The second best piece of beef I had in my life! The prawns to start and the chateaubriand to share are simply beautiful. Great cocktails as well

The soul of the fire meets the passion for the service. What an anazing experience. Amazing beef, starters, drinks with a view to die for. Must go for a celebration.

I complimented the surf & turf oysters, but be careful of the pulled pork shoulder. It's TOO rich in flavor. Found myself chasing it down with water & bread. And I still didn't finish it.

    Steven Loi · May 25, 2013
  • Steven L.

I found the surf and turf oysters appetizer to be delicious! Perfect balance with the tempura battered oysters w/ the lemon wedge and a light puréed tomato dipping sauce!

    Steven Loi · May 25, 2013
  • Paul G.

The Baby Back Ribs are truly excellent, as is the Belly Pork. Was disappointed by the puddings though as they lacked the snappy presentation and imagination of the starters and mains.

    Paul Goodhead · April 12, 2011
  • James S.

Try to get a view of St. Paul's - it's great. Otherwise hawksmoor has better steaks and there are better, cheaper options for bbq food in London (the joint, hotbox, etc)

Everything Jamie Oliver touches turns to gold. Based around impeccably sourced meat & fish; the restaurant will boast more cooking methods than anywhere else in the UK too. Read more

Amazing food with fabulous views of St.Pauls. Bread and olives a must and for the burgers lovers best burger with fantastic side order of mushrooms and coleslaw.

Good food but very noisy and hot, especially when you're right next to the grill. Demand a better table if you're seated there. The waiters' table right next to you doesn't help.

Great BBQ! Order from the smoked section, don't bother with the overpriced steaks. Read our full review on Scoff London:

this restaurant, although very different, reminds me of Animal in Los Angeles. As a confessed meat lover, bring on the meat meat meat! The steaks here are tops.

One of my favourite restaurants in London. Try the ribs to start- they're a must! Get a seat by the window overlooking St Paul's to impress.

    Ryan Ross · August 6, 2014

Go for the ribs in the mains. Super tender. Entrees are on the small side too. Chicken wings not as tasty as expected. Service was v good tho

    Christine Fai · April 18, 2015
  • Lilah

Get the pit beef. It's amazing, and probably the best thing on their menu. I'd skip the chicken. Ask for a seat overlooking St. Paul's.

Baby back ribs are great to start, pull pork shoulder is lovely for main but could be a little rich for some. Brooklyn larger is amazing.

Fillet is very good. Try the cornbread, very heavy with cheese but delicious. Big portions so work up and appetite before coming here.

Two words: Spicy Fifty. Vanilla vodka, lemon, elderflower, honey and chilli. And a fresh red chilli in place of the olive. Phenomenal.

    Rachel Chen · August 15, 2011

Pig's cheek starter and the burger are both agreeable. Avoid window seats on a hot day, or ask the waiting staff to lower the electronic blinds.

It's all very meh. Decent overall, but certainly not the standard that I expected from a Jamie restaurant and a £185 bill (for three).

Nice view and cocktails! 17.00 -20.00 special prices, free Wi-Fi and a variety in food. Must try it :)

The T-bone steak is HUGE! You could easily share it between 2 and get some starters and sides as well.

Excellent food and great service. The steaks are the best in London, try a Barbecoa blazer after your meal or the cheesecake for dessert!

Great BBQ joint. This is one of my favourite London restaurants; but ensure to book a table ahead

Steaks are dry and oversalted. Ambience is of a busy canteen. Uncomfortable chairs. Rubbish, especially in terms of pretty high prices.

High-quality and delicious food. Try the Mexican Chicken; it has an original Mexican flavour.
