Barbounia specializes in modern Mediterranean cuisine. The vibrant atmosphere and worldly music complete the experience.
The lamb sausage, grilled octopus, and the mortadella and broccolini pizza was delishi. Great for groups or a table for 2.
Consistently good. Great happy hour and apps!
A hidden gem: a Cheesecake Factory knockoff in the heart of Manhattan. Loud, obnoxious, gaudy and loud again. The food is actually quite good though. Get the Turkish Eggs.
Bottomless brunch is fantastic. If you're not ready to leave, you can keep drinking at the bar after paying the check.
Incredible brunch. Get a couple of small plates and make sure to have some of their bread.
Loved the food, the vibe and the service. Small plates is the way to go.
Really good brunch, start with spicy feta dip, I love the crab Benedict and baked eggs.
If you're early to brunch (be there around noon), there's plenty of space at the bar. But only if you're early, so plan like a Pro; no reservation, pick any seat you want.
Must order the spicy feta and iron skillet shrimp for appetizers! Must order lamb terracota for main course. Brunches are unlimited champagne for $18!
The hummus and the chicken are fantastic!
Amazing happy hour and fun times for large groups. The rosewater panna cotta is muy tasty
Bottomless mimosa brunch. Great food. Very loud.
bartenders awsome ambient 10+
Great atmosphere, delicious Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food, could be less expensive though.
Energetic #Mediterranean resto 6 blocks north of #UnionSquare. Burrata w/black quinoa, yellow fin tuna- amazing dessert called silan
Greek salad is perfect. Striped bass is bland but good.
The Kanafeh is amazing!
Bottomless mimosas and bellinis
I absolutely love this place. The food is always fresh and delicious. I love the Crab Benedict, the Croque Madame, the Lamb salad, the Hummus plater and Octopus!
Very good place for groups
best happy hour I've been to. Drinks are out of this world (get the Jalisco) and the hummus and bread are made fresh.
A more sophisticated brunch spot. Come for the bottomless mimosas. The waiters are great at making sure your glass is always full!
The hummus is amazing. Great happy hour deals. Gets super busy during it so get there early if you want a seat at the bar!
With how amazing the mezze and appetizer menu is, I could enjoy an entire meal of just starters here and be more than content. The Iron Skillet Shrimp were perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor.
Amazing place! Great happy hour deals! And the unlimited fresh right out of the oven can't even cut into bread they service is divine!
The burrata is fabulous.
Duck pasta carbonara was mind blowing.
Great octopus spaghetti... A tad noisy but much fun with four friends!
Don't come here without ordering: Saganaki, cauliflower, spicy feta, hummus, salad, margarita pizza, and the branzino to share.
The shrimp is the best dish on the menu.
Good spot to wine and dine at Park Ave. Hands down for spicy feta starter.
The grilled rack of lamb and the kanafeh were awesome
Grilled octopus, kanafeh for dessert...you won't regret it
Good for brunch, flatbread is delicious
Best hummus in Manhattan. And killer happy hour.
Went with a vegan friend, so needed a place with options for us both. Ended up having my first vegan meal...hummus, falafel, tomato salad, fried cauliflower, and def get the bread!
Great place for a weekend boozy brunch. You can continue the unlimited drinks at the bar until 4 pm.
Perhaps the worst tasting brunch. Do not come here for the food. Under cooked eggs, sugar coated bread allegedly masquerading as French toast, waxen flatbread.
Book table 1
Chopped salad with lamb kebab is delish. You can't go wrong with any picks in this place.
The Green Shashuka on the brunch menu is amazing!
Start aycd brunch at the bat while waiting for your table - they can transfer the drink special to your table
“Stylish” & “upbeat”, this “cacophonous” Flatiron Med lures “see-and-be-seen” “Gen-X” types with a “tasty”, “something-for-everyone” menu, replete with vaulted ceilings – that’s the star of the show.
Just mediocre in about every way. Also they don't cut your bread for you wtf is that
