The Original Arcade Bar - Since 2004! HAPPY HOURS: MON-FRI until 7pm — $1 Off Beer, Wine & Well Drinks
Awesome. Craft beer and bubble bobble. You can't go wrong. Bathroom is kinda scary though. There's a locked door within the men's room's stall. I believe that's where they keep the evil hipsters.
Get $20 in quarters and blow it all away on some of the toughest games ever. Smash TV, Paperboy, Donkey Kong, Qbert, Tapper, and so much more. Be sure to have a Fishermens Brew at hand at all times.
Very cool concept that is nicely executed. Most games are a quarter value (not actual quarters, but tokens you get by exchanging dollar bills). Great craft beer selection! Few seating options.
What's not to love about vintage video games and a well curated craft beer list. It's that simple and a great way to spend an evening. Wished they opened earlier is my only quibble.
If the food is not the most important part of the evening.... along with good little plates and beers, this place's speciality are the arcade games along the walls! For a good night out with friends
If you are looking for a unique and fun date spot, this is IT! They have a huge variety of fun drinks and the space in lined with retro arcade games. https://www.facebook.com/BonfireApp
This place is busiest on Fri & Sat nights, as expected. But it's rarely utilized for day time revelry. You have the pick of the litter when the sun is up. No waiting. Happy hour doesn't hurt either.
Imagine delicious local beer (no Budweiser, Heineken, and other crap here) mixed with your favorite 80s arcades (Punch-Out!!!, Contra, Tapper, Rampage, Tetris, Q-Bert, 1943, and more). That's Barcade.
If you're an 80s baby u will love this place. All the arcade games from back in the day. Oh yeah, great beer selection, too. Nice bartenders, helped clueless me choose the perfect beer.
You wont find a ton of seating at Barcade, but with over 40 arcade games lining the walls and 25 microbrewery beers on tap each night, the last thing you'll need is a chair.
Love this place! I always make sure to go by or a visit when in NYC. Tons of craft beers on tap and all your fav 80s arcade machines at 80s prices!! (25 cents a play!)
SO MUCH FUN - 40+ microbrews, tons of old school video arcade games for a quarter and a very cool laid back vibe. Located in hipster central williamsburg but don't hold that against it! :)
An awesome concept, with great beer and drink selections, but its main draw (the arcade) is mostly beat up machines that don't play well with a glaring lack of pinball machines.
Great craft beer selection, every few Thursdays they have a special brewery night with most taps pouring drinks from that brewer. Change machine is around the bar for games.
While the other gamers are waiting in line for Galaga, Tetris, and Ms. Pac-man, get a fancy beer, some quarters, and play Tapper. You'll never beat my high score but you can try.
Bask in this cavernous, industrial-chic spot with American craft beer and an eclectic lineup of classic arcade games—everything from Centipede to Galaga. Be Independent.
Arcade games and craft beer. Huge space, close to the train and diner. One of the better bars in the area. Always like checking out the rotating beer list.
grab a seat at the bar, order a finely crafted beer, pay for it, then SCREAM at the whitey customers in their hipster costumes. i mean, not to be anti-social, but come on. ; )
It's got all the social awkwardness of a middle school dance with the added bonus of great beer and fantastic beef jerky. Tap takeover nights are a real special treat.
Amazing place packed with arcade games and a great beer selection. Bring some $25c and try out Rampage or Tetris.
Fun place to drink on a night out. Beers or cocktails while playing old favourites like Rampage, Ms. Pacman and Frogger.
Bar + Arcade = Barcade. Is there anything else you need to know? Excellent choice if you really don't feel like having a conversation with the people you're with.
Check out their incredibly selection of local and American craft beer, but watch the ABV - too many big beers will seriously reduce your ability to play the first round of Q-Bert or Marble Madness.
Between "Crystal Castles" and "OutRun", this bar has no fewer than two videogames which have inspired electronic music artists.
Our dog just pooped and no dirty looks except from a few Huff Post people. We sent them a variety of local microbrews and picked up the poo. All good.
Go for happy hour; all beers are $1 off, there's no wait for the video games, and hipsters with little knowledge or taste for beer aren't overrunning the place.
Kickball with a beer seem a bit sacreligious? Get over it. This bar lets you embrace your inner child—it’s stocked with vintage arcade games—while allowing you to keep a hand in your adult life.
Needs pinball, but a nice variety of games/cabinets. Of course they have change machines. Decently large selection of drinks. Obviously can get packed.
It's a lot of fun when it isn't super packed. A great selection of really good beers. Recently they switched from quarters to tokens (LAME)
The original Brooklyn beer-cade. Personally I think Two Bits in LES has better games, but the beer selection at Barcade is hard to beat.
The St. Marks venue has fighting game (Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat) -- which are NOT here. Beer selection is decent, but less fun vibe.
The Best place for a cute retro date over arcade games and beer. The Worst place for sitting down and getting cosy, as it is often SRO.
Classic arcade games, extensive beer selection and a fun atmosphere for you, your friends and your dog.
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Get a Captain Lawrence Fresh Chester pale ale and good luck getting to the kill screen in Donkey Kong.
Qbert machine is hiding in the back between Smash TV and Final Fight! Don't use the left coin slot on it, you'll lose your quarter every time.
Vintage arcade games and plenty of delicious beer on draft. What more can you want? Give it rating: http://bit.ly/1gk9a5g
It's more about the bar than the 'cade with its unremarkable selection of 1980s and early 1990s arcade machines. On the plus side, most plays are great value at just 25c.
The original Barcade. It could get crowded, but there is always a great beer selection and all the classic arcade games.
25 craft beers on tap and 80s style arcade games, what's not to love?! Also- Happy hour runs 2-8PM Saturdays and Sundays
Bring your laundry quarters! Craft beers and classic arcade games. Mike Tyson's Punch-Out in the back is just ferocious.
Awesome rotating drafts and top notch snacks. Go on like a Wednesday and you'll be able to play any game
Crystal Castles and Satan's Hollow are the ONLY games to play... And if they have captain lawrence Liquid gold, you're in luck!
