People tend to check in during these times:
Barclays Center is a multi-purpose indoor arena in Brooklyn, New York. The arena sits partly on a platform over the MTA-owned Vanderbilt Yards rail yard at Atlantic Avenue. It is part of a proposed $4.9 billion sports arena, business and residential complex known as the Atlantic Yards.
The food is over priced but the vibe of the place is great!
The epicenter of Brooklyn's Sports Life. Barclay's has hosted some of the most amazing events since its opening.
Hot dogs w/ as much sauerkraut as you want.. The seats at the top have super narrow rows. I don't recommend going up there intoxicated and with your hands full
Solid basketball arena. Team is terrible but come for the food!
At first glance it seems like a great venue however once you spend some time inside you start to notice all the shortcomings.
Parking is a hassle or expensive. However, very convenient via subway. Very nice, modern venue.
Not great for concerts: People smoking inside, sound quality subpar at best, long lines for drinks/food, underage drinking. Saw Kygo & SHM.
Everything works like a clock.
The boxing I saw here was incredible. The food I ate here was sucky.
I go for all events. Basketball, Hockey, Circus and Disney on Ice. Maybe a concert in the future.
Keep non-metal things in your hands when walking through the metal detectors. Also, be cool.
Very nice arena to see your favorite game!
If you are going to a game, it's not worth sitting in the 200 section as that's insanely high in the sky.
Great seats and great food.
Went for an Islanders game. Beautiful arena. We had great seats and the atmosphere was great. Plenty of concession stands so lines aren't huge. Expect expensive stadium prices for food/drink.
Boxing last Saturday
This is a nice arena. They have different beers at each stand and the food is different at each place also.
Great for concerts!!!
Hockey tickets are affordable - just need to fix the lines to get in.
Watched both a hockey and a basketball game here. Nice place and not as pricey as others.
If you're seeing a Nets game, get the tickets that offer free concessions!
So impressed by how clean it was! Great facility for taking in a basketball game. Good food and drink options, and tough to beat the proximity to the subway.
Worst organization ever to get into the Islanders games. Opened doors 1 hour before game and people were pushing each other to get through the doors. Horrible. Other than that stadium is nice
New York Islanders hockey games are great value for friends and family to have fun.
Since it's newer than MSG, it's a whole lot nicer. For concerts, it certainly sounds better. It looks great inside and out, and it's conveniently located within reach of many shops & restaurants.
If you are going for hockey, make sure your seats aren't obstructed.
Nice place but seating is the worst I have ever seen.
Got free food with my tickets to any concession counter. The best!!!!
Food and drinks expensive
Sexy arena designed by the aesthetic wizards at SHoP Architects.
Do whatever you can to get seats in the lower bowl. Excellent sightlines. Upper bowl is steep and distant.
Arena is awful for hockey games. If the person in front of you leans forward, you can no longer see the ice. Beer is overpriced.
Worse sporting place in the USA (especially for the islanders) also there fans are extremely immature. Place is a rip off and no room in the seats. Never again.
Plenty of concerts and sporting events here. NHL and NBA games. Very expensive options on food. Transit accessible.
The UX for navigating the stairs is poor - the views of the game however are top notch
Hockey and basketball
Barclays is built for live music. Incredible sound with perfect sight lines in the 200-level corners, which sit lower than those directly facing the stage. Just doesn't compare to MSG for NBA or NHL.
Great sports complex to watch hockey and basketball. Brand new and lots of great food treats.
The sound was awful for the show. For the NBA games, though, is great. Avoid shows there.
Came for an Islanders game. Fun arena, decent food, and craft beers are $12.50
I love this place and love it more when WWE is here.
So many great concerts!!
Drinks are overpriced... Cocktails are watered down. I expected more for $17!
Difficult to get to by car... especially when there's road construction! 😡
get your drinks at a nearby bar before you go in. even the cheapest piss water of beer is marked up 1000%. insulting.
Great venue. Small. But great!
Food as expected was overpriced but seating was nice plenty of leg room and a very comfortable modern atmosphere.
