Everyone is very friendly and always prepared to help you find what you want.
One of the best bookstores in philly 📚
Amazing collection, great gadgets.
If you don't secure a seat in the cafe within 5 minutes after the store opens, you're out of luck and will need to try again tomorrow.
Place has really changed and not towards a customer oriented mood... You used to be able to sit in here but they limited it ton this really small spot! Miss being able to just sit and read!!
HUGE selection up in here!
The café is NOT a Starbucks...they simply serve Starbucks' products! I tried to use my Starbucks gift card but I was rejected! Lol
no place to sit in the cafe and the upstairs is just as bad. If you find a seat upstairs it might still get taken away if they're having an event. Don't bother sitting on floor Security will say move
The ppl in the café area aren't really nice but other then that a nice place to spend your time in.
CCS alum Carolyne Savini will host an info session tonight and talk about her volunteer experience in Morocco and Peru!
The Barnes and Noble cafe just serves Starbucks brand, they are not a Starbucks. I suggest getting you Starbucks around the corner at 18th and chestnut and bringing it with you.

Extra seating to sit and read on the their floor.
Visit Tria around the corner for a wine, beer, cheese: 123 S 18th St
Sit next to the windows overlooking Rittenhouse Sq. Beauitful!
Clean up after yourself when you leave your table
Shitting in the second floor bathroom is welcome.
Great store, but don't come here if you're looking to use the Internet. It's terribly slow.
This Barnes & Noble store is also an AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spot. Curl up with your Nook and connect with AT&T Wi-Fi.
The Starbucks staff are apparently too busy conversing to remember to make your drink.
Old ladies droppin forks, nice makeup old whore
Great place to take kids and toddlers to read in the city
Ask about the short story collection Elephant, by Jim Breslin. Haunting.
Great view of Rittenhouse Square. One of my favorite book stores to go to in the city. Go to their cafe, which has more on the menu than most Starbucks!
Beautiful view of Rittenhouse if you sit by the window!
Usually no place to sit
If the park is your place, these are your toilets.
Free internet here. If your laptop's dying and you don't mind sitting on the ground you can keep it charging with plugs on the ends of some of the bookshelves.
Lots of books
