People tend to check in during these times:
Bascom Hill is named after John Bascom, former president of the University of Wisconsin.
Today it's one of the most popular places to bask in the sun, but when UW first opened, students from North Hall kept cows on Bascom Hill.
Take a brief study break and tan on the hill in the summer or play in the snow in the winter. Bascom Hill has something for everyone!
Upon graduation, the new graduates all line up to sit on Abe's lap and whisper their hopes and dreams into his ear. Great tradition!
The center of campus and a place filled with history.
Nice place :)
Avoid having an early class in Bascom Hall - it's very likely you'll loose the motivation to go.
Located within Bascom Hill is the dermestarium, a chamber filled w/ flesh eating beetles from the Biology dept. Can you find the entrance?
