Currently they are constructing a new temple so grab a bucket of dry mortar or bricks to drop at the top of the stairs. Adds to the challenge of the steep steps too!

Fresh coconuts at exorbitant prices (TOURIST PRICE) from Rm 6 to 8. Usually its at 3.50 or at max is RM4 in a number of places. Shame to see garbage everywhere in the caves. 272 steps, g8 for cardio.

30 min drive from the city center; not worth visiting if you don't have much time in KL. Dirty, congested, and full of tourists feeding the wild monkeys junk food. :( What a shame.

The 272 steps leading up to the Main Temple is ruled by gangs of monkeys. Don’t even smile at them, cos seeing your teeth is a form of aggressive manner to them as well.

The natural wonder of the limestone formations serves as a backdrop to one of the most popular Hindu shrines in the world. Said to be some 400 million years old. Take a walk up the 272 steps.
