Montreal-Style Wood-Fired Bagels
Long line is worth it- seating is hard/a battle of who can be pushy enough.
The breakfast sandwich is fantastic, the lemonade is also good (but very sweet!).
salt & pepper bagel w their house-made cream cheese = breakfast of dreams
Bagels plain really are the highlight. Smoked trout ain't whitefish and is just so-so.
The best chicken apple sausage even if it's not authentic Montreal.
If you want the essence of what they're all about...just get a woodfired everything bagel, take it home, cut it open, and add a little butter and you'll be in heaven.
Best lox bagel around.
Fig and goat cheese scone pairs perfectly with a latte. Apricot scones are awesome too if you can get one before they sell out.
The classic with lox, cream cheese, capers and red onions is fantastic. My new go to place for bagels in the Oakland area, good even by NYC standards.
Classic lox & cream cheese on a poppyseed bagel is a good first timer option. Wait is longggg during the weekend lunch hour.
If you're not adding herb goat cheese spread to everything, you haven't lived life.
open faced classic or fried chicken
Add herb goat cheese to everything.
Absolutely incredible wood-fired bagels. The salt and pepper is fabulous. Staff is extremely friendly, restaurant is cute. Sea Salt Chocolate Chip cookies! Vanilla latte with housemade syrup!
Changing table (Bonus: large enough for two infants) ☑️ Outdoor seating for dogs ☑️ Great grub ☑️
Don't be intimidated by the lines. Moves quick.
Excellent breakfast bagel sandwich with veggie sausage and avocado, had an array of Lucky Dog hot sauces to use here. The cappuccino wasn't bad here too.
Everything or a Salt and Pepper breakfast sandwich with chicken sausage. Do it.
Latkes during Hanukkah
Not really bagels, as such, but perfectly tasty bread products with good fillings.
The latke plate is only available for Hanukkah so act quick!
Outstanding deviled eggs
A little bit pricey for just a bagel but the quality is there. I had a toasted sesame bagel with salmon, cream cheese, capers and optional avocado, si yummy!
Bagels are great and there's friendly service. Would love if there was an express lane. You can get a quick bite after waiting 20 minutes just to get to the register
delicious bagels, popular on Saturday morning
Wonderful bagel sandwiches. The chicken sausage, egg, and cheese is the best.
If you can wade through the hipsters in fanny packs, the wood fired bagels are outstanding as is the coffee.
My favorite combo: Tofu cream cheese on an Everything bagel with radish & arugula. 💣💣💣
They are so fresh so original, see what looks good put it between 2 bagel slices and enjoy!!
The salt and pepper and sesame bagels are fantastic. So is the tofu cream cheese. Quick service in spite of the huge line.
ask for the veggie on garlic, pickle the onions, and scallioned cream cheese. I call it the tickler.
Best bagels in the Bay Area. And this coming from a New Yorker. Get two. Small enough and tasty enough that you'll want another.
Breakfast bagel, substitute braised greens for cheese.
OMG The Fried Chicken sandwich.
Get the "classic" smoked salmon; best I've had in the Bay Area.
Love the Everything Bagels and omelets! I prefer their espresso drinks over the drink coffee.
The bagels of course
Get the breakfast sandwich with chicken scrapple. It's delicious.
Nice, symmetric bagels.
Pretty good but not a New York bagel.
!!they sell u-bet chocolate syrup!! the bagels are bangin. coffee *&* espresso. A++ just do it.
Probably the best bagels in the Bay Area.
Only place in Bay Area I've ever found real NY bialys. They are fabulous.
Fried chicken with garlic bagel is the way to go. No on egg salad.
Yes, is true pretty freekin good bagels. Love that they use heirloom tomatoes.
Delicious wood-fired Montreal-style bagels. Order the classic on a salt and pepper bagel if it's your first time. Comes with lox, capers, red onions and cream cheese.
