Grand small airport. Remember if traveling to here it is actually quite a bit outside Belfast but the better airport of the two
Wifi password for the business lounge is 'airporter'. Average selection of snacks and drinks. Coffee average.
Make sure bring your own bag for liquids as otherwise you have to buy them here which is not like Hearhrow who give them for free
Small departure lounge but enough to keep you entertained while waiting for your flight.
Security is under-staffed. Would be a nightmare at peak times.
Use the toilets beside gate 14. The ones beside burger king smell so bad.
Shockingly there is no free wifi in this airport with a min tariff of £5 not even 30 mins free. Use the cloud if you're on it. Not so international as other airports it seems.
Just found out u cant bring pepper spray here. After the same spray have been travelling to 7 countries. Haha hilarious!
£4.40 Guinness.... thieves
Staff are ever so helpful. Nice and friendly
No free wifi, which is taken as a given in airports. The airport definitely needs a facelift.
They need to send the security people to the states to see how it's done.
Must visit: The Giant's Causeway,an area of 40,000 interlocking basalt columns formed by an ancient volcanic eruption. It was voted England's 4th greatest natural wonder and is steeped in local legend.
Travel in the afternoon if you can. There was no one in the security line and I was through in no time.
On a Sunday afternoon it was a breeze to get through security.
Bollinger is currently on offer in duty free. Perfect for Christmas or just a regular Champagne Sunday! Use buy and collect so you don't drink it while you're away on holiday!
Enjoy the view of the runway from Starbucks.
celebratin lou reed on the plane with a bunch of drinks to london
Departure area toilets are a disgrace - all traps blocked with turds
Security is easily held up, so get here early if you're departing.
£9.49 for an Ulster Fry, are you serious!
Keep an eye on the time table they don't make it clear where your flight will be and doesn't give you time to get to your gate. In other news the PRAYER ROOM is a good place to sleep over night!
Strictest security I've ever been through and I've been to quite a lot of airports
Avis car hire are no longer in the terminal. You need to get a courtesy bus to their new location.
Downstairs is bleak. Departures has more places to eat and generally consume
Use Cosmo if your parking... good value and very nice staff!!!
I find it hard to believe that an "international" airport doesn't provide free wifi- and the charge for 1 hour? £5!!!! Bring a dongle folks.
If you plan on having more than one drink, buy a bottle of wine in duty free and down it in the toilets. Never done it myself but it would be a lot cheaper
Remember you can tell them to shove their back scatter machine where the sun don't shine. Politely of course.
Bar has Harp, Carlsberg and American Bud. Could the selection be crappier?
I'm a regular international traveller and this is always, without fail, the worst security queue of them all (and that includes Manila in the Philippines!)
Arrive on time, common sense really for any airport. Security can be hit and miss with time depending on how busy it is of course
Get keychains from official tourist info desk, much cheaper than outside, £2.75 each! Only the leprechaun one thou.
Having previously spent 9 hours in here waiting. I can tell you it's cold and incredibly uncomfortable for a wait of anything over 15 mins. Chairs other than in the cafe are pretty much non existent.
Baggage reclaim is now no longer accessible from the arrivals waiting area.
Wow amazing and wonder
Welcome to Belfast
Pick up a pay as you go SIM card once you reach your destination. That way, you'll be charged local rates to call or text local numbers and can use mobile internet without the roaming costs!
Don't go through security without your driving licence
Got my ticket and was through security in a breeze! There's a shop once you get past security that was delish! Great small airport.
Welcome to Northern Ireland!
My recommendation for brunch in town: Harlem Cafe
"@StarbucksUK: Tomorrow, come and introduce yourself (before noon) and we'll introduce you to a FREE Tall Latte! #FreeStarbucks http://bit.ly/y8kitw"
Great airport with no free wifi clogging up the airwaves your brain cells will remain undamages
Don't go in the Cafe, go in the park plaza hotel opposite and have a scone in peace for the same money!
Take a drive along the Antrim Coast. Do the Giant's Causeway!
Visit Kellys Cellar where Brad Pitt learned to speak "Irish" between pints
Have a drink at the historic pub, The Crown Liquor Saloon and another at Bittles Bar. Check out the political art on the walls
No free bloody Wi-Fi! :-( Sort it out as other airports are kind enough to offer what is now classed as a basic service so don't be mean to your customers!
Leave extra time for security since getting through can sometimes take ages and security here are ridiculously over the top.
