A small family gelateria & coffee shop located in downtown Vancouver, serving daily-made artisanal gelato using the best local or global ingredients available.
The gelato here is worth the lineup. Tried Ashka Mashti (saffron, rosewater, pistachio & cream) and banana bread as recommended, these flavours indeed are amazing. Right texture, not too icy or milky.
Excellent gelato! Don't let the line fool you because it's worth it
Amazing gelato. All of it.
Pricey, but delicious!
Mint chip errday
Great place for handmade Italian ice cream
Amazing gelato but definitely not the best in the world and not better than the creamy deliciousness found in Italy. But great for Vancouver with some great flavours and great location.
BEST GELATO EVER
World winning gelato!
Holy gelato. Banana bread & chocolate maldon sea salt. Whoa. #gelatogasm
You want it! Get in line and wait 4 one of your best ice creams ever. Check out the uncommon ones
Best gelato in town, country and the world:)
Try Akbar Mashti + faloodeh. Trust me you'll love it. I wish they'd give you more considering how expensive it is.The last time I went in they even weighed it. Really?
Lovely Espresso el Futura. The lines can be ridiculously long!
The best ice cream in Vancouver, ask for "Dulce de Leche"
Long line that moves quickly. A must-visit. Try the full bloom lavender; it's very flavorful without being too overpowering.
Not the best. Owner is ripping off people. He may know how to win competitions but he also knows how to rip off the consumer.
Avoid the waffle cones. They can't handle the gelato that isn't made to proper standards. They're using generic cones. Gelato is not cold enough. It simply melts before you leave the store.
Too trendy. Small portions. overpriced. So many fools come but here and throw their money to the owner.
I think this is some of the best gelato I've ever had! My favs were chocolate with Maldon sea salt, salted hazelnut, amarena cherry, banana bread and Akbar Masti. But you just can't go wrong here!
Everybody is so excited about this place, and I totally didn't like it - overpriced, way too sweet, has nothing to do with real Italian ice cream... Never again!
If you want people who know what they're doing... This is the place.
Great gelato. Love the cannoli :)
Bella Gelateria’s James Coleridge won both the Jury and People's Choice awards at the 2012 Florence Gelato Festival. He uses quality ingredients to make unique, multiethnic flavors in small-batchs.
Try the earl grey! Super refreshing
Le duo chocolat au sel de mer et banane au grand mariner est divin ! Merci JF pour la recommandation ;-)
My favorite is earl grey, lavender and toasted pecan&maldon sea salt:) it says they close at 10 but they dont until every customer is served! ^_^
Make like a Filipino and try a Sweet Corn + Buko Pandan combination. Delicious!
thai coconut and mango sorbet was awesome!
BUKO PANDAN. 'Nuff said
The line waiting to get its gelato is a super sign you are at the right place!
Head over to the Vancouver Convention Centre. Dessert with a stunning view!
2 flavour on cone max.. the line is long, but be patient, it's worth!
The salted hazelnut is a winner!
Toasted almond is fantastic!
Try the Earl Grey Tea gelato, it is simply delicious and unexpexted.
It's more worth it to get 2 flavours. But it's so good.
Can't go wrong with any flavour here. Love the black sesame and Thai coconut.
Major lines now because the word is out. So my tip? Bella for dinner and dinner for dessert!
The only true artisan Gelateria in Vancouver.
Feeling Asian? Go for the buko pandan. Really delicious!
Award winning gelato. Always great on a hot summer day!
The sorbet was so so but, my daughter loved the gelato! Long line out the door. This is the place to be for a treat apparently.
The seasonal flavors are always the best option if you are looking to taste some exquisitely different
The best gelatoria in the world try the safran flavour et the lemon sorbet it's amazing !
Fabulous selection, worth the queue
Definitely need to try the Amarenetta or Earl Grey!
The Earl grey is a must try!
