Bellevue Hospital Center is one of the NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation's 11 acute public hospitals. It is the oldest continuously operating hospital in the US.
Never again will I go to this hospital they don't know what they're doing I had gotten made it to the same department for the wrong reasons twice
How do you go to the hospital check yourself then and they will not admit you then you go for an upstairs to a different department and and back on the same floor that they will not admit on????
I've been going here since I could remember and it's improved over the years. The Pediatric clinic is full of friendly staff and student doctors. You will love them for as long as you live.
Best public hospital in the city. Great doctors and nurses.
One of the best hospitals in Manhattan
absurdly cheap parking. 20 bucks for 12 hours. every NY'er loves a good deal.
Steam shutdown went exactly as expected when temp. Chief decided to do it without calling in any engineers.
Willie is doing a full building shutdown on Friday May 30th 2PM - 12PM. We are a little short handed so we may run late.
Closed the MEDICAID OFFICE BRANCH here
Willie is shutting off the steam to the Eastside at 2PM. Better put on a sweater.
The worst hospital don't come here!!! The ER is soo gross. There is a few nice doctors n nurses. It's just not good here😳😷😷
Bellevue Hospital Center was named after a farm, Belle Vue, which existed in colonial times where the hospital now stands.
If you wanna visit a student make sure you bring both a Gov ID and your school ID
Get a little or no-cost flu shot while at Bellevue Hospital Center. Get vaccinated early to build up proper immunity.
Come early and expect to spend the whole day. Be mindful of your surroundings, as this hospital gets a lot of characters. But, all in all, I get decent care here at a reasonable price. (I'm uninsured)
This place is horrific. Employees have attitudes and no one wants to help anyone. You have to show up at LEAST 2 hrs before your appointment time to be seen by your appointment time. Unacceptable!
You get what you pay for. So far, all the staff from emergency room to the breast health unit being extremely nice, helpful. Who doesn't like city hospitals, should go to private. Stop whining.
It's a city hospital. Don't expect them to treat you like a welcomed guest, but if you have a legitimate problem, you'll be taken care of. A lot of lower income patients arrive here, it gets ghetto.
20th floor is not gross. Its the psych unit. One of the cleanest in the city
Bring a weapon with you, as must of the people here look (& act) like they just got outa the can...
The Kafka LARP at this place is fantastic. Everybody's so into their roles, taking it all completely seriously. I'm surprised they even still have their cover story of providing medical care.
There is two Great Hospitals in New York, Bellevue and Lennox Hill. :) Good caring, quality service. A pleasure for any health need.Everything under one roof.
Always say hi when you're in the travel office lol
This place is hell
Get here early for pharmacy. Sandy has still affected services....
Make sure you bring a book, magazines or any type of entertainment because you will be waiting here for a while. So serious. Smh.
This has to be the worst hospital in the city avoid at all cost!!! Staff ate rude and very unprofessional the pits!!!!!
The food sucks ass!
The BEST place to do your internship, residency or fellowship!
Avoid the homeless... It's like Walking Dead presented by AMC
You have to have tough skin.. This is NY customer service.. Lol
I can't believe,,,,my brother pass away at ICU. Can't forget 4ever the day "valentine's day", he has gone....
Signs to find parking not done very well. An astoundingly complex collection of buildings.
awaken in to.
If you can handle the attitude here, you are a true NYer.. This is a true NY hospital..
Solid ER experience. Didn't wait for service. Staff was polite and, while not gregarious, warm with a little coaxing.
Security staff are nuts here. Hassled us for no reason.
Do yourself a favor and don't come here. No personalized care, no consideration for you as a patient, and no professional service. If you're not suffering an emergency, you're better somewhere else.
With my money makers at the er
Creepiest hospital in the city. The whole 20th floor is so gross.
Dont feed the animals
Tupac was treated at Bellevue Hospital after the '94 shooting (5 bullet wounds; 2 in the head, 2 in the groin and 1 through the arm and thigh). He checked out, against orders, 3hrs after surgery.
6s has the best nurses & rehab staff also best ICU I have ever seen
If you have someone stay on 16E don't expect for them to ever be washed or the bed changed, nurses r horrible there.
Ppl just hate on here don't listen they save lives
Pharmacy takes fucking forever. They need to fix the way they do things around here.
Double check your medication if you get it here- they will mess it up consistently and make it seem like its your fault and send YOU all over the building to fix it.
