Israel's largest international airport with 13 million passengers served in 2011. Serves as an international gateway to the majority of Israel. The airport serves as a hub for El Al, Israir Airlines, and Arkia Israel Airlines.
Remember to get here at least two hours before your flight, the security check takes forever!
It so good to fly, like a birds....
Not clear you need to pass a first security check. You risk to miss your flight. Once passed that usually the rest goes smoothly.
One of the best international airports, but now there are a lot of queues, you must wait a lot for time for everything. It's terrible.
Good airport, but there are huge queues, you have to wait for along time for everything. Think twice before coming to here.
A really nice airport
A really nice airport. They even sell pretzels there!
For el al go to c section.
Very accurate controls, free Wi-Fi
Give yourself time to go through security. I'd stick to the 3 hours before you fly rule.
Home sweet Home
The most stupid checkin process for International flighs... Be aware of the Terminal 1, you must waste your time to go there by bus an then go back to the right one... Crazy!
Good atmosphere at Ben Gurion's cafes, and duyt free shopping the another best thing.
Security checks are tedious, but hey, it's got free wifi :)
Bye Israel. ♡
Slightly boring place, security check was fun though
Israel starts here
a stunning airport! love the free WiFi too.
Security before check-in =Israelis egotism to security, same bl**dy pointless questions
The food options are not great. There is a kosher burger ranch though which is open on shabbes. Not sure how that works but if you need a last kosher meal... Duty free is pretty well stocked at least
Why do Israelis not have airport bars? You can find a pre - flight drink if you look, however...
Quite possibly the world's safest and most secure airport. Passenger screening is tight but obviously worth it.
Big & great architecture-designed airport unfortunately long queue for security check
Be prepared to spend 2 hours in security and have all your stuff thrown off your bags...
Be ready to answer some very personal questions...
security like you've never seen before. Arrive early
Free wifi at the airport
At arrival, it would be faster to use ATM in the baggage reclaim room: there are long lines near the exit.
No need to hurry while off-boarding and passport control: your luggage will be the last anyway 😂 however, the airport is pretty nice and duty free section is really huge.
Maybe we were lucky but the security check took like 15minutes so we've left wandering around for 3 hours having nothing to do.
Surprisingly easy to get through the airport security and passport stuff. Very efficient, or maybe it's because it was very quiet when I came through
download the Uber app and put the code eng03 get complimentary money on your first trip
Security checks are improving, wifi everywhere
Be ready for about 7 check points :(
Service is getting better. Lines are shorter and staff is nicer. Free wifi as usual. Duty free and food are expensive
guter Flughafen, vernünftige Läden ; for 125usd you can bypass border Control and security lines. makes sense. professional staff.
Leave for airport at least four hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. Security here is no joke.
You'd better get here like 3 hours prior to your flight because the security control might take way too long
Be friendly to the staff, they have maaany questions. Most beautiful airport I know.
You MUST take some humus back home.
Very nice place
Remember, there are two security checks, each one can easily take more than an hour. Especially if you have a beard!
Be ready to answer the questions :)
The coffee and the fags
Picking up my bro:)
An amazing airport that makes you feel safe flying in or out to !
