Pro tip: order a lot of starters (antipasti) and share a pizza. Cocktails here are really good, but you should expect a line.

The pizza was good, the service was not. Took too long, server forgot main topping, was not welcoming and inviting.

Risotto with funghi and truffled Panna was very fine and tasty. A bit crowded and music too loud for my non-American ears:)

As an Italian I found the pizza very disappointing. Definitely one of my least favourite in San Francisco.

Bread, bread, and bread! I would recommend a family-style meal with appetizers and pizzas, instead of ordering entrees. Great cocktail menu too!

Dry, clean, and appetizing, if you like aromatic, rye based cocktails, the slightly bitter Mythmaker is mighty fine.

Get the beet gnocchi. It's served on a bed of cream and lightly charred. So so good.

Vegan options are one thing, but to make it easy for me by having a vegan menu, and I'm in love. 💕

Hands down this place has amazing food. Really popular & can see why. Order the broccolini & the spicy pizza with burrata. Service is great too. Just a shame they don't have wifi.

This is labeled "Italian" but the proper food group is "Orgasmic." (Favorites: walnut bread, whatever gnocchi for the season, stuffed peppers...everything.)

If you're there on Friday get the lasagne bolognese. And the bread w/mushroom and honey even if you aren't into mushrooms. And the meatballs! Katie is the best waitress I've had (at any restaurant).
  • Evan K.
The walnut bread was absolutely amazing, as was the mushroom risotto. Pro tip - ask for the spicy marinara where applicable.

Walnut bread with burrata & mushroom-truffle honey is fantastic. Try the gnocchi with porcini & smoked pancetta, plus the funghi & panna risotto. Paloma cocktail is very grapefruity so go for diablo.
