Lots of shops nice view on governmental buildings good communication to the city
every monday here are to demonstrations: one with the patriotic europeans (e g nazis) and one against racism
There are only 2 small free wifi here - at Starbucks and Segafredo ...
Very modern and clean station with lots of restaurants and bars. Very close to the Reichstag
Picking up online tix? Go to the Travel Center one floor up; on the ticket machine choose All Offers > Prebuy Tix
God! I'm lost! This place is huge!! Why didn't I learn German??? Tip: Get here early if you're traveling to another country and get too excited about traveling. Seriously: this place is huge.
Great architecture! Plenty of options for food, drinks, shopping and even supermarket.
Luggage lockers are in -1 floor ... have to find big number 1-2 ... Lockers are before entrance to garages.
Grab a coffee from Dunkin' Donuts before boarding your train, tram, or bus. Excellent service at the DB ticket office.
Beautifully designed. I liked it
Shops close from 10 at night till 7 in the morning, not what you'd expect from a station like this
Beautiful station. Tend to get lost here though!
One of the worst architectural disasters in modern German history. As far as international central railway stations go it's halfway decent.
Nice station, but if you need to change your PEDs, and you cannot access the DB lounge, your only choice is the Tourist Bureau. Thankfully they have a nice little rest area with a few outlets.
They aren't friendly at the Z shop. Won't shop for SIM cards here again.
Main station, remember to validate your ticket before getting on U or S or fine €40
So big, I always get lost in there. But soooo convenient, you have everything there and a rossman and Kaiser 24/7 : perfect!
This bahnhof is quiet impressive. I managed to get lost in there a few times and still don't everything that is inside. Apotheke and grocery store is 24/7 and that is wonderful.
Huge and pretty train station with lots of stuff going on inside. The train station itself is quite an impressive sight. 😊
Power plugs and a seat at McDonald's
The place is huge but really well organized, variety of shops if you have to wait.
Beautiful station, designed by Meinhard von Gerkan.Starbucks in here is a rip off.Vapiano on site is a heaven for Italian food and drink.Europaplatz ->buses-tram.Washingtonplatz ->no buses,no tram
There is a Vapiano inside!
Really nice architecture.
Who, who, who builds an symmetrical main station?!
You just can't have any burger at 4am😑 no matter where you are
Take a hotel alike shower at the WC center for 7 EUR
A very nice station, there's quite a good doner stand outside,a supermarker inside and so on,shitty wifi though. And its a bit difficult to find a good coffee for a good price. It has starbucks though
Bakeries on the top floor! Ticket office on the first floor. Don't get lost :)
Welcome to berlin...
Try fresh croissants at LeCrobag
Virgin store has a good selection of English books
If you're waiting 1+ hour for next train try Vapiano
Statbucks prices are really high at the train station, watch out!
Dunkin' Donuts doesn't exist elsewhere in Europe, so why bother with Starbucks (unless you want free WiFi) when you can get a Boston Creme too? Beautiful train station, very clean, friendly info desk.
Beautiful station, designed by Meinhard von Gerkan. Beware: transfers from regular trains to S-Bahn takes at least 6 minutes as you have to climb several floors.
It is really gorgeous railway station!!! Like it!!!
I'm always mixing up the side where I have to go for the buses. Europaplatz -> buses, tram Washingtonplatz -> no buses, no tram
So many levels! Strongly suggest finding out your platform with high priority. Can take a while to get from Platform 1 to Platform 10.
If the German trains wouldn't be this expensive, I guess I would be here more often.
Major train hub for Berlin!
Easy to get taxi from outside
Try to do not be lost there
Don't miss out Millie's cookies. Especially the ones with white chocolate - 🍪🍪
Clean and comfy
After all these years still impressive how trains pass on top of oneself
Come for the trains, stay for the shops and the architecture. A mini-arcology in the making.
Be careful with luggage deposit working hours. They do not work 24h/day, but close down relatively early in the evening! The most stressful point of my trip!
