    Great twist to Japanese home cooking. Really loved their seafood options including their crudo and octopus. Solid chicken karage and interesting combination of miso short rib with mustard.

    Try the umeboshi fritters, which are like a Japanese take on fried olives. Also fun is the sashimi platter, which comes with nori and rice for creating your own rolls.

    Drink so much yummy caffeine free iced barley tea. Loved the shiso miso peanut appetizer and the crispy rice special in Ragu. Homemade chili oil is also bomb.

    Japanese comfort food - with an unexpected contemporary twist. Fantastic flavor combos. The ara-ni (fish head stew) is great for winter. Plum sake sorbet with halva is a great dessert.

    Japanese cuisine with a modern twist. Really enjoyed the lobster miso soup and beef tataki salad. Good venue for small group dinner!
