Don't go here for breakfast. Terrible food, lots of items not available from the menu and the food was dreadful. Go next door to the National Theatre kitchen instead.
'Sunset Blvd.', 'Citizen Kane', 'Bridge on The River Kwai': why I consider this the one place to watch the best in world cinema and, obviously, more to my taste, great classic films, British or not.
Lovely bar if you can get into the smaller room. Pretty busy.
Hidden down the side of the BFI, the bar serves great cocktails with adaptations on classics (fig old fashioned pictured) and there's a chilled ambiance. Seating is limited however.
Great screens. Superb selections of films (new and old, English or foreign languages)
Amazing place, the bookshop is the place where I lose the track of time, so many briliant movies and books about movies.
Fab place loads to see and places to eat try wagamamas
Handy charging station for your devices. Wonderful book shop.
Great place to learn film appreciation and catch classic movies on screen. Has a library with free admission.
Great cinema, recommend London Film Festival and BFI Flare (LGBT film festival) when they are on. Lovely bar at the front (not the Riverside side)
All of life's essentials are here. Outlets, wifi, restaurant, bar, great cinema. It's a shame there's nowhere to sleep.
Keep an eye out for special talks and premieres. They often have filmmakers introduce their film with a brief chat afterwards.
Awesome place to dine or study on your own! Restaurant very good with reasonable prices and cafe very cozy and welcoming with big comfortable sofa-chairs! Literally obsessed with it!
Lovely cinema screen with great showings for members!
Great place to hold Film Festivals as there are many screens with mega comfortable seats and reception rooms for discussions to take place.
Screens great films; many independent
The blue room serves great non alcoholic drinks
Stroll along the Thames before watching a movie here. It's that close!
Every time i visit London this is the place to be as they have a good selection of classic and international films ... Well recommended
Great place to hang out. Nice bars, cafes and restaurants. Further down towards West nice Italian restaurant. National Film theatre has a nice cafe area at the back next to Cinema book shop.

Great venue and the gig was great x
One of my favourites places in London, and probably the best cinema in the world. I went more than 30 times in a year, and I missed it so badly!
An opportunity to view films made by unique individuals who want to express a view, tell a story. Worth visiting film archive library
The executive lounge is lovely.
Fantastic cinematic experience.
Don't visit the pub. They're very unpolite.
NFT3: think this is the smallest of the theatres... was very hot and cramped in there.
Definitely try to go and see some classic horror during this Winter's GOTHIC season!
It reminds me to think about renewing my membership
Cheap coffee in the Benugo bar by the ticket counters.
SCI-FI-LONDON 12 runs until 6th May. Please check our site and download our app
Enjoying a pint of lager and watching a movie in this superb theatre is something you must have in your 'to-do' list in London!
Love going to film festival films here especially if you get a Q+A afterwards
Miserable bar staff. A smile costs nothing, people!
