Great camera store! Fantastic place to try out cameras and lenses. Very helpful. Call me Let's go together. I'll help you pick out a camera, and teach you how to use it. Mark Mac Laren (212) 674-8615

You HAVE to come here. This is Definitely a MUST SEE when in NYC! We came here for a couple DJI Phantom pieces, and got Exactly what we needed! IF Not on the shelf, ASK and the conveyor brings it!

If your are looking for something for a camera don't matter of its old or New and you can't find it at B&H probably you can't find it anywhere. It's crazy this place, is huge and really cool

This store is probably the biggest that I've ever seen. I loved the way in which it works. And take a time to see how the products arrive to the place where you pick them. Very good prices too.

The scores of Hasidic Jewish salesmen at B&H have the biggest inventory and the best prices in town. It's like Epcot Center for the bargain shopper. Closed on Shabbos, open on Christmas! - IFC Staff

Everyone knows B&H.. if you haven't heard of them you might be just coming out from under a rock. If you live in Jersey, you can have your purchases mailed and avoid paying NY & NY sales tax.

Incredibly efficient for its Soule, and exceptionally wonderful staff. Unfortunately closed for a large number of holidays, and overwhelming your first visit.

It's like Disney World for camera buffs. There are elves in the basement warehouse filling your order as you make it. Security is high, so give yourself plenty of time to peruse and check out

B&H closes early on Fri 4 Sabbath observance. If you are rushing b4 closing with a return & a purchase: go in the RETURN entrance, they can arrange for most purchases if you have the item#.

This is where you go to work out your geekSexy self. So many gadgets so little time, it can get overwhelming here, so take your time. Play around and you should come out with something fun.

Mind blowing assortment of cameras, lenses, cases, memory cards, lighting kits, etc. Pick an item, they start a ticket, item goes into bin, meets u at checkout. Plan ahead, closed on Jewish holidays.

This is the dang Mothership folks! The one and only. The Willy Wonka of cameras both video and still, digital and film. Lenses? They got yer lenses. Long, short, fast and slow. Geek Mecca.

Make sure u have plenty of time. You have to stand online to get the merch u want. Even if the product is right there in front of ur face, they send it "off" to the "cashier" which is ANOTHER line.

This is a must stop every time I visit NYC. It's like I'm a kid in the candy store. Amazing place! Just remember they close early on Fridays and are completely closed on Saturdays

Meh. Just go to their online store or Amazon/Best Buy. Having to check my small bag was annoyance #1. #2 came as it took 10 minutes for a salesman I didn't want to talk to, to offer unhelpful advice.
  • James P.
I was aware of B&H's online store but this place is just a sight to behold. I hope you've got a big wallet because there's something for everyone here!

The best! No reason to deal w/Sam Ash or Guitar Center ever for Pro Audio. The staff at B&H is the friendliest, and most knowledgable group I've ever dealt with in retail. #nyc #ProAudio #dj #photo

The best place to buy eletronics, costumer service is really amazing! Don't go on sundays is really crowded. And it doesn't open on fridays and saturdays, and, of course, jewish holidays.

The paradise for photographers and filmmakers. One trick: before go to the store, choose your products by the B&H website, because is easy to get lost there and find nothing

If you're shopping for a camera or any other electronics, you MUST come here and try them out in person before making a purchasing decision - nothing beats the hands-on experience and B&H's selection

Bias against female and minority workers. Pay them less and pass them over for promotions. They make the Mexican immigrant works use a separate bathroom from everyone else.

After the cashier line, u go to yet another line, the pickup line. Management needs to improve this system. I could have my product in hand 15 minutes ago but I am still waiting (another 15 min?)

Don't buy high end photo paper here. Got Oriental brand paper that was fogged and they wouldn't replace because it was past their policy. Been buying supplies for years. No more.

Rude customer service. Henry Posner has to be one of the worst people to deal with. They think they're all that and a bag of chips, and that you are below them because they are "know-it-alls".

If you have to make a return be prepared to wait. And you have to go outside and around the corner. Guys in returns are grumpy and rude. Wasted 30 mins returning a $18 head set for my phone.
