Nice variety of shops to pick from, so you can easily find some food that you like - but the shops are overpriced. Located very close to the main shopping centre too, which is very convenient.

    Katherine Bridges · April 12
  • George M.

What a tip! Still the dark and dingy station it always was and really difficult to navigate.

    George MacD · April 9
  • Michael H.

Looks good now they've done it up, but it's confusing to find your way around now. Especially if you're only a semi regular visitor.

    Michael Holdsworth · March 30
  • Hassan E.

I like it. Much better than the London train stations in my opinion.

    Hassan Elmi · March 24

A lot better post refurbishment. A lot brighter. Used to be a dark hole

Enjoy the soul-destroying Underground-like décor while being overground.

Not the best place for a hangover cure

    James · December 21, 2014
  • Stephen C.

I used to know my way round this station but since the redecoration, I keep leaving from the wrong exit! There is a sign hanging from the ceiling for directions to Moor Street if you can spot it.

    Stephen Crocker · December 8, 2014
  • Mohammed M.

The best station in birmingham, very huge

    Mohammed Mohanna · December 4, 2014

This place is an alienating, claustrophobic, cynical, abomination with absolutely nothing to commend it

Looking a little better but still chaotic at times.

    Vatra Shadowulf · October 8, 2014

Big station with only one toilet... Disappointing...

    Shallama Wairimu · August 25, 2014

Most of the platforms now have escalators. Sadly they still do a manual ticket check at the barrier. They should really have automatic machines.

The new New Street Station is gorgeous! Spacious and makes a massive improvement on the city centre. Now with better shopping too!

    Karl Kemp-O'Brien · August 13, 2014

The renovation change the whole landscape of the station. You need a map now to get around.

    Abdullah Al-Juma · August 11, 2014

Book tickets online and collect from your local station (use booking reference). Cross Country trains seem busy. Looks like many people reserve seats! New Street being redeveloped until 2015!

    Elliott Brown · August 9, 2014
  • Becky D.

Be better on Saturday when improved access to the Bullring opens!

    Becky Dutneall · August 7, 2014
  • Nick D.

Don't bother with the coffee places on the station, go out of the main doors and head to "Food With Benefits" Coffee Lounge over the road. Much better.

    Nick Drew · April 7, 2014
  • Arjun T.

Try booking tickets after 9/10am a few days before. My ticket went from £50 to £20!

If you're looking for a cost effective sandwich just walk across the road from the main exit to Tesco.

The new station has the same aseptic feel of Gatwick Airport South Terminal and the same Cornish Pastries shop!

The people here are morons who can't seem to grasp the basis instincts not to walk in you. You literally have to dive and weave inbetween people on the main floor.
