    Nice variety of shops to pick from, so you can easily find some food that you like - but the shops are overpriced. Located very close to the main shopping centre too, which is very convenient.

    I used to know my way round this station but since the redecoration, I keep leaving from the wrong exit! There is a sign hanging from the ceiling for directions to Moor Street if you can spot it.

    Most of the platforms now have escalators. Sadly they still do a manual ticket check at the barrier. They should really have automatic machines.

    UPDATE MAY 2013: Phase 1 of the new station is open. Pub gone! Brand New Exits. New lifts and escalators at end of B on EVERY platform except 1B which has stairs. Add 10 minutes incase u get lost!!

    For those looking for bins in new street u won't find at this train station is like airport security no bins so bombs carnt be put into them....bins are outside train station its for our safety....

    Quite often the national rail website will leave more time imbetween trains than is needed, and if you're on the ball, you can catch an earlier one. Just make sure your ticket is "any route permitted"

    If you're commuting across the UK, avoid this station. Pay extra money to go via another station. It's big, noisy an disorganised and you'll end up being delayed and very stressed out.

    When inserting coins for the station loos, look for the green arrow after 20p has gone in. Then go in. This saves you 10p off the advertised cost.

    If you've got you're to kill, head out of the main exit, to the main road and turn right, down the hill. The cracking little Sunflower Lounge bar is 30 seconds down the hill.

    not everyone that has luggage on seats is rude. If a train doesn't have a luggage rack and you have to keep the aisle clear where do you put a large bag. Of course you have to keep luggage with you!

    Just because you are avoid the ticket barriers "to help someone with bags". Doesn't mean you are guaranteed to avoid having your ticket checked. Just a warning!

    Trains for Leicester passing through nuneaton almost always board on platforms 9,10 or 11 so if your ever lost stick to this end of the station!

    During the cold weather the platforms are CRAZY COLD! Wait in the main part of the station as the platform waiting rooms are never as warm.
