Morgan Freeman announces airport information. For Alabama or Auburn Merch go to concourse C for a store that has a much larger selection rather than Hudson Stores
If you want to get Alabama or Auburn memorabilia go to Terminal C to the large store rather than a Hudson Shop. Morgan Freeman's recorded voice plays in this airport to tell you about airport safety.
This airport is burning up hot. Is the air conditioner out?
Wow, impressed with how friendly everyone there is.
The car rental setup here is the worst I have ever seen. It is like a maze and not organized.
Not a bad airport
This is one of the WORST airports to have to return a car. There wasn't anyone working to check back in my car and my keys didn't fit into the return key box. Oh yeah the return key box is hidden.
They have added some nice eating selections with Good People Brewing Co. And Jim n' Nicks BBQ. TSA is always a pleasure here.

Nice little airport, security is pretty easy and generally laid back atmosphere
How I hate waiting for a flight! 😒
Since the remodel, it's a pleasure to fly into Birmingham. Make sure to hit up Good People Brewing in concourse A.
Beautiful greenery art work on the concourse. It soothes my soul in a natural way.
Decent place, friendly staff
Headed to NY for a week of meeting & setting up new business team. Exciting stuff!!
Wonderful airport right in the heart of Birmingham.
Easy in. Easy out. Cell phone lot very close to terminal but sometimes exceeds capacity.
Hard to say much while sitting on the runway.
Great airport! Clean, fast security and good food options (Jim 'n Nick's, Good People).
Very nice AP but the baggage claim is slow. Plus they just shoot out your baggage without a care. Make sure nothing valuable is in there.
Headed back to my second home ....CHICAGO!
United and Southwest passengers now arrive and depart on Concourse C
Nice new airport. Nick n Jim's bbq is worth the wait.
bhm - where roosters fly too!
Pretty sure Morgan Freeman makes the security announcements.
Delta Base ATL but home sweet home for 7 years as a F/A Crown room nice view anyone welcome <3
Most of these tips are outdated with the new concourse. Plenty to eat inside. Enjoy the free wifi and plentiful outlets.
Valet $16.95 a day! Well worth the convenience!!!! .
Saturday, March 8th the precheck line is closed, bummer.

While Mortal Kombat is a very good game, I think Donkey Kong is the best game ever.
Parking garage is straight out of a Saw movie and you'll starve to death in the terminal. BUT free wifi and takes less than 10mins to get through security usually
There are charging stations in so many places, even at the bar!
Chick fil A is at gate A1..off to get some Lemonaid!
Listen carefully, Morgan Freeman is warning you not to leave your baggage unattended.
Jim N' Nick's is slow and expensive, but nearly worth the wait... nearly.
They now have TSA Pre. Life changing.
Frequent travelers- Leave extra time for security. No first class line, no Clear lane. They do have TSA Pre-Check.
Very clean and there's a free play place for kids. Also, the PSA announcer sounds like Morgan Freeman.
Unlike most big city airports- you really DO need to use a quart sized bag for your 3-1-1 liquids. They are REALLY nice if you "forget." So be nice back:)
Put a smile on or your will stand out. People are friendly
If you are traveling into Birmingham for Empowerment Week, be sure to check out the many options for ground transportation:
I like this airport but the Fox News stuff has to go.
The airport has been renovated. Any tips prior to 2013 are no longer valid. That being said, local fare includes Jim and Nicks BBQ. If you have time, try their Pork plate for a taste of southern BBQ.
Everyone at the Birmingham airport sounds like Forrest. Forrest Gump.
My luggage arrived ... Soaking wet. It was hardly raining...

This is one of the smallest airports I have EVER been in!
