    This is the blue cod which was amazing. Highly recommend oysters for starter and def save room for dessert. The chocolate is meh but cheesecake is to die for. Order cocktails via iPad!

    Great starters! We tried almost all and each one was delicious! Meat selection is great, but that was expected. Very nice wine list and helpful sommelier. Excellent restaurant, highly recommended

    Go early for the pre-theatre menu - $65 for two courses. The winter salad with artichokes, goats curd & kipfler potatoes was simply divine. Seats by the windows have a great view.

    At The Star this January the Fast Festival Feasts you can get a two course meal with their signature steak with a glass from the McGuigan "The Shortlist" range and a Tasmanian Rain water.

    Oh yeh... The mini brioche loaf is also amazing! So cute and buttery. Don't get the black Hawaiian salt on your fingers tho - stains like a biatch

    Service is OTT.. good, but constant interruptions. Oysters were great - don't stop at 3. Kingfish sashimi is over embellished & u can't taste the fish @ all. Great cocktails & atmosphere!!!

    Compare to delicious food, high quailty of ambience and the high prices, the service was poor. They need to be improved. The cheesecake was delicious!

    Nice venue and the lamb rack was great. Don't forget about the awesome complimentary buttery bread aka croissant.On the $$$ side.

    Fantastic service, Snapper Crab was fresh and tasty and Wagyu beef is delicious! Now time to try the deserts :-)

    Steak is fantastic, but you need to order some sides. There is no greens with the steak.

    Have the Honey Crunch for dessert..... AMAZING!!! My boyfriend ordered..... I ate it, even after being so full I couldn't finish my main!

    Not to say it wasn't good, but for the price it wasn't good enough. The Mac & Cheese side will blow your mind - just get a few of those for your main!
