Like No Other Store in the World, Bloomingdales is Americas only nationwide, full-line, upscale department store. With an enduring international reputation for quality, creativity and uniqueness, Bloomingdale's is at the forefront of retailing worldwide...
When we're in search of a new outfit, a gift, or really anything, this is our go-to spot. We can't come here without making a stop at 40 Carrots for a huge portion of frozen yogurt (with sprinkles).
Come visit Joey in The Kooples on the 2nd floor. The French brand recently arrived on this side of the Atlantic and is all the talk, with classic Parisian designs and impeccable English tailoring.
If you want to sit down for a minute and charge your phone check out the visitors lounge off the 1st floor mezzanine. Beautiful space. Very comfy and they have complimentary phone chargers
bloomies has a coat check on the mezzanine. so sensible when it's freezing out but it's toasty inside the store. also highly recommend the forzen yogurt at 40 carrots. coffee is the best flavor choice
Probably my favorite Bloomingdale's because it has everything you need... Prada, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, you name it... They have it! MOST of the sales associates are nice and helpful.
The salespersons at Bloomingdale's are amazing. They just magically know so well which dress will fit your body type the best. I trust them to dress me up for office or parties
So many perfumes to select I try a different one each time I go ... Staff are so polite always even when you don't want to try their perfume!
If entering through lex u lose reception at the escalators going to 2nd fl. No reception on 2 at all. Good and bad. U can shop in bliss but if u separate from friends GL finding them
Bring a set amount of money because you will spend it without realizing it here. The only place I will buy costume jewelry. Very high quality. Best hosery. Love my bloomingdales.
Bloomingdale's defines NYC! Celebrities and NY fashion-conscious residents shop here. They have absolutely everything and some! Great one stop for everything you'd need to look fab in NYC.
First opened downtown in 1872, the 59th/Lex flagship has been operating since 1886. Bloomingdale's recently redesigned beauty area is a great place to find and smell fragrance.
Love me some Bloomies! I live in a Bloomingdale's free zone so when I visit I head straight for the Aqua line. Check it out for great style at reasonable prices!
If you actually move through the whole store, and walk up the escalators (no elevators!) at either of this retail mecca, you’ll not only know what's in-style, but also burn major calories.
Free wifi. This place is awesome. Get 15% off if you are a visiting customer, bring your passport. Don't forget to check the Magnolia Bakery on the ground floor.
Bloomie's is my favorite, has it's own vibe. Not as high priced as Barney's and Bergdorf's and not as cheap as Macy's. Classy and contemporary at the same time!
Looking for a good place to eat after shopping? Must try Kurant nearby on 58th and 2nd ave. Great wine list, happy hour, and the burger is my favorite
The WORST customer service ever. Staff is rude and completely demotivated, especially women on the fifth floor coat section. We simply tried to pick something up, next time we will go straight to saks
This guy is the most amazeballs MAC artist I have ever met - he knows his s*** and has a great sense of humor 😃
Dave in the Fragrance Dept needs to work on his sales pitch. He chewed my ear off for 10 min and was absolutely unconvincing. I didn't even like the fragrance. Better like next time Dave.
Since you're so close to the Winter Garden Theatre (50th & Broadway), catch a performance of MAMMA MIA, now 11 years on Broadway. For best availability, try a 2pm Saturday or Sunday matinee.
Finding yourself hot and tired in the upper east side? Head up to the home furnishing section and take a break on the couches. Super cold AC and hands off salesmen
Not only is the gift wrapping obscenely expensive ($16/gift), but it also comes with a chunk of nasty attitude from the gift wrapping ladies whom really hate their jobs.
Say hello to Jeff, the security guard. If you arrive super early before the store opens, he may buy you coffee for you to sip while you wait!
You can enter the store directly from Lex/59 street station. Good to have that access when weather is bad or it is cold outside
The flagship location of this famous upscale department store is where it all started—and is the perfect place to do all of your New York City shopping.
The service at the men tuxedo and suit section is horrible. No one wants to help, and they often lose your suits when you leave them for tailoring.
This store is really something else. You have to be mentally strong to not to spend all your salary here. Great shopping enviroment
One of the best department stores in NYC. Far superior to Macy's but not as fancy as Barney's. Something for everyone here
kiehl's ultra face cream on the 1st floor is the best. then ask the counter for samples of other product they always provide :)
Who would have thought? I recently found the most amazing dresses at Bloomingdale's, with the help of Sal in the Ralph Lauren Collection. He pulled the nicest dresses for me! Lunch at David Burke is a
Decorative and practical - all in one serving pieces! This is our go-to brand to gift this holiday season. Make it yours too!
Besides the gorgeous, immaculate store, the Forty Carrots frozen yogurt is phenomenal! Super tasty, and huge portion!
My other favorite store!!! I love the atmosphere, the relaxed mood and of course the shopping!!! Spend the day shopping then sit down to lunch in one of the restaurants in the store
Though this one is much bigger, Bloomingdales in SoHo has better sale associates! Here I was blatantly ignored by 2 staffs and told "I'm busy" by another one. How rude!
Laura Mercier counter on 1st fl. Go to Marilyn. Shes honest n really understands clients needs. Doesnt try to push products. Natural look makeup products.
The watch repair shop is 1 floor below the ground floor. While they aren't the fastest, they are mighty friendly.
Took a trip to New York City with Barbie and we were completely unprepared for the cold. We spent half the day trying on coats and laughing at Bloomingdale's and missed our Broadway show.
rude arrogant staff. I dont know why I went here for a 2nd time. didnt buy anything. they didnt have the pdrfume I wanted. wont ever go back again
Join Hudson Jeans x NYLON at Bloomingdale's tonight from 6-8PM to meet Hudson's Creative Director Ben Taverniti while enjoying eats & beats and sipping on a Double Cross Vodka cocktail!
This is by far our favorite department store in NYC! Our 57th Street bus will get you pretty close to here.
If you're traveling from abroad, come in with your passport at the Welcome Center and get an extra 10% off where accepted
If you're allergic to dogs like me, you really don't want to come here. I'm not quite sure if this is a clothing store or a pet store.
Ask for Drew at Space.nk he's the best and will have your face looking amazing! Tell him what's wrong & he'll fix it!
I love the gift wrapping they have upstairs! Them ladies that work in that department are beyond nice!
Make sure to get a visitors pass for your extra 10%off! And you can leave your coats and shopping bags there
Huge shoppingcenter for people with too much money! Mangolia is on the first floor! Great hot coco there!!
40 carrots coffee yogurt with granola... to die for!!! can't come to bloomies and not visit 40 carrots :)
