The original outpost of the French-influenced “interpretation of the American steakhouse” BLT chain and still the best. Buttery popovers precede a wealth of first-rate cuts in a modern atmosphere. Read more

Seemingly offering it all – posh ambiance, friendly service and delicious food. Don’t skip the namesake steak or overlook the complimentary bread – the popover bread is truly magical.

This isn’t your grandfather’s steakhouse; it’s more about polish than tradition and testosterone. Note: Due to its location, the restaurant tends to get overrun by power suits and business lunchers. Read more

I came here for my birthday and fell in love. Popovers to die for, filet is delicious and mouth watering, (try the red wine sauce), dessert is decadent, BYOB wine! This meal was worth every penny.

Seafood platter for one $34: 2 shrimp, 2 oysters, 2 clams and lobster tail. Amazing sides $8 each, roasted mushrooms, truffled mash and creamed spinach.

Yes, the popovers are amazing. Otherwise, erratic service & the room is LOUD. Fresh fish, GREAT short ribs & solid wine list. Not the best steak in the city but good choice for meetings & occasions!

Special red @ good price: Mas de Daumas Gassac's (see 'Cab Sauv-Other Regions France') '05 cab sauv-merlot (atypical for the Languedoc) displays reserved fruit and herb notes; excellent with food.

I did not find this place special for a steakhouse, the service had not been more than robotic, no personality the food was fine but not an experience to return, I have traveled and would not return.

The popovers! The best I've ever had. Warm, doughy and flakey. Amazing. Also: the tuna tartare and the duck patè. Do it.

Food was good, but service was horrible and very slow. Has to ask for salad dressing 3 times. Didn't get mashed potatoes and a soda till dinner was almost over after asking multiple times.
