The wait was ridiculously long for OK quality coffee. Half an hour with a non peak line? Really?
half the pleasure of having coffee here is sipping it out of the heftiest Heath stoneware. the rooftop and ginkgo trees don't hurt either

One of the greatest places in San Francisco to sit and read while having a nice beverage. Get your cafe on while it lasts, SFMoMA closes for a major remodel in mid-2013!

Friday afternoons draw quite the well dressed artsy geeky hacker crowd. Try other days for a more solitary experience.
Please don't merge this venue with the main SFMOMA venue. The cafe is distinct, just like the museum store and rooftop terrace.

An annual membership to SFMOMA is worth it just for the shorter lines at this Blue Bottle! Oh and try the Mondrian or the Thibault cake!
