Blue Frog’s Local 22 serves Chicago’s best burgers and beer. We offer local draft beers and have a fabulous menu of burgers, sandwiches, soups and salads.
Check out their new location, albeit a touch classier, blocks away on Hubbard Street. Expect the same blue-collar charm, piles of games and the soothing buzz of fluorescent light signs.
Tater tots, bitches.
The Greektown Burger was amazing! Service was so great, even for the "non-locals".
Good food, cheap beer, nice staff! Fun times!!!
Good food, Good People and Awesome karaoke! Come on, tater tots and singing? oh yeah!
Came here on a business trip. Most attentive service I've ever gotten anywhere that wasn't a high end restaurant. Great beer list. Greek burger was delicious and so were the tots. Highly recommend.
Great burgers and beer.
Great place for an evening snack and drink. Pasole is very good and the Pulled Pork has just enough heat (but not too much). Sit outside.
Jon Taffer and his Bar Rescue team did a real nice job. Big selection of local/regional craft beers and the Southside Irish burger (big hamburger patty stuffed with corned beef) is phenomenal!
Jamie is the best bartender and Antoine (the doorman) is the sweetest guy you'll ever meet. My local bar.
Pulled chicken sandwich = yum.
Neil, the British bouncer, has the voice of an angel.
The food is great here, especially John's inspired soups of the day. They also have a tasty selection of neighborhoody burgers and a killer local beer selection.
Ask Raheel to make you his special "Armenian Handshake" martini. It's amazeballs.
They have a limited $3 surprise beer special for liquidating summer menu inventory selections. Ask your bartender about it!
Great place to eat and hang out!
Try the greektown burger! To die for!!
Karaoke Tuesday night. Trust.
Definitely do the karaoke at 10p ... It's a blast!
(Oysters are across the street at shaws)
If you ask for the house special by the mens room you are given 2 things, a plate full of cheese fries & romance from an Austrian Lady. If she asks you about the Reverse Bungalow Joe it's trouble.
Have an island swine.. tasty drinks that remind me of piña coladas + koolaid.
Best damn chili I've ever had
Service was great. Problem with this burger joint is they offer your burger cooked to order (medium rare etc). But burger is too thin to make this happen. Tater tots are nothing unique. Sorry folks
A downtown bar that doesn't have the snobby attitude and has a great selection of beer and tasty food. Any bar that has Three Floyd's beers on tap is worth going to. Fun crowd too!
Fried pickles were good...small order, but then im from TX where everything is bigger. Great service!
If you don't have a burger here, you've lost. Slagel Farms and they grind their own beef blend from four different cuts...GREAT burger.
Think the Jim Beam dispenser rules
Great place to watch a game. Also, the eggplant flatbread is pretty baller.
Awesome beer and huge burgers. :)
Walked in & immediately thought it belonged on Bar Rescue. Turns out it actually was! Yikes. This place is so unorganized - the bartenders look lost and were eating and drinking behind the bar.
Pop with bubbles!!!!!
Always the variety. Love it.
Ben's "Cucumber Cool It" is the best glass of shots I've had in Chicago.
Try the Loop Burger! Bacon, onion, cheese, and tomato... Ask for an upgrade for fries!
Friendly bartenders, Warm beer, we came bc of bar rescue, don't know if we will be back
Freddie Mercury behind the bar more interested in anything but bringing me a drink.
Featured on Bar Rescue on Spike TV. Turbo taps, a glass cleaner, and Wi-Fi. Password is their Fax #. Ask the bartender for it!
Great bar, cheap booze but don't get the Midori Sour...way too sweet. Wanna visit here again!
Get the hamburger, just a do yourself a favor and order a classic and make sure you upgrade to tots.
Rudest karaoke DJ ever. No need to be rude abt not playing a song - especially since I was nice abt it. Clearly needs to learn abt customer service. Extremely disappointed.
Try the Maxwell Street Burger. Grilled burger with diced polish sausage & Gruyere inside put on a bun w grilled onions, peppers and a sport pepper, dijon aioli. It is a party in your mouth!
This is no longer Blue Frog. It is now called The Local (Karaoke, Burgers, Beer).
Big fan of the atmosphere here. The food is good, and there's a much more laid-back crowd than some of the other spots on Hubbard.
The 25 cent oyster special once a month can't be missed. Just make sure to get there early.
The Loop hamburger... Délicieux!
