Listen, folks: ALL the photos and tips at this place have absolutely nothing to do with the actual spa which is located in central Reykjavik. The real "Blue Lagoon" is about 50km to the southwest!

Lovely place. Free mud masks. Pay for everything on an electronic wristband.

If you go to Iceland, finishing your journey in the BL and then having a delicious meal at the LAVA restaurant is the perfect end after seeing the Geysir and Gullfoss's surreal

Reserve tickets online in advance. Do the cheapest package and bring own towel and shampoo. Or do the cheap package and rent towel there (5€).

This place looks like heaven. Really good place to chill. Pro tip : Take the "standard" option and bring your own towel, mask is provided in the lagoon and drinks cost like 3-5€

A great way to start or end your trip to Iceland. Don't worry about the millions of germs that colonized the pool. YOLO!

Great place to relax. Bring your own towel, body lotion and a comb. Plan to spend 2-3 hrs here only to enjoy the lagoon. Walk around and look for free samples of face products. Great place to mingle

Grab a beer at the pool bar and then wander around looking for a hot spot in water - you will know when you find it, the water seems about 10 degrees warmer.
