Excellent brunch. Downstairs is great for private dinners and functions.
Food was great, however service was mediocre and unapologetically slow. If you venture there try the fried chicken or steak tartare.
The pastrami salmon Reuben was amazing!!
mmmmmm fried chicken
Had the halibut with lentils and cabbage. Sounds like an odd combination, but the flu it's we're super. Fish was wonderfully moist too!!
That fried chicken as beer combo
If you can snag the table downstairs, great place for a group.
Fried chicken and friendly service! Portions aren't large, but area is adorable.
Great atmosphere...fried chicken...mmm
Fried chicken is the specialty
The Manchego + Mexican honey toast is one of my favorite dishes in the city. Perfection.
Amazing tuna salad on toasted challah here. Really tasty.
Everyone at this place is SO nice! The coffee, Blue Benedict (?) poached eggs, Challah Deluxe...A+++++👍🏻❤️
A little bit pricy compared with other neighborhood, anyway it's west village, nice cozy spot for a relaxing brunch though no complimentary drinks. Salmon Benedict is on toast, well prepared.
Challah French toast and chorizo hash.
Blue Reuben sandwich is excellent!
For when you're hungry before the Sullivan St location opens. The BBQ pork sandwich is fantastic.
Cute restaurant. Had their French toast as dessert, but still prefer the one from Extra Virgin.
Poached eggs with shrimp and bacon hash were legit
Best chocolate bread pudding in NYC
Sit at the bar and take a loaf of bread (baked fresh that morning) with you on your way out.
Good-times! Great food. Enjoyed the steamers.
Had the duck breast when beef and chicken are my go-to but was pleasantly surprised with flavor and bed of mashed potatoes
Try the halibut special. The drizzled sauce is also a good "dip" when enjoying your dinner companion's French fries.
Mediocre and overpriced brunch
Not great. Overpriced for what you get. I got the salmon and it was suuuuper bland.
we got the plateau and it was everything I could ever imagine! fresh and raw seafood on ice. the atmosphere was dim, quiet even with all the tables full. went around 12am
Fried chicken yummm
Fried Chicken, always. Avocado special is delicious too.
It was ok... The highlight was the bacon. Otherwise, better bang for your buck could be had elsewhere.
Fancy Friday Luncheon
Brunch in west village. The century-old oven downstairs produces beautiful, crusty breads, but the real magnet at this window-walled, congenially noisy spot is the lengthy something-for-everyone menu.
The seat just behind the bar that's set into the window = great spot to stop for a drink / snack. Shrimp and chorizo app is right in my wheelhouse... tho $19 is a bit steep.
Noisy. Maybe try sitting downstairs if you wNt quieter.
The food was great! The atmosphere was great. Oscar our server was great!
Get the private room.
Chocolate chip bread pudding is a must for dessert!
You MUST have the banana walnut bread pudding!!!!
If you know anything about life you will order the steak tartare- consistency done to perfection. Do the grilled avocado and bread pudding desert in half orders. Did I mention the bread? Special place
Chamomile mint lemonade and homemade matzoh with Parmesan, garlic and all the other yummy things you could think of.
American classics like fried chicken dressed up and classed up. A little on the pricey side.
The best filet mignon I've ever had.
Everything on the menu is ah-ma-zing. I had one of their specials tonight which was a grilled spicy avocado, blew my mind. Bread pudding for dessert = huge & nom nom nom. Manager was super attentive,
Their basics are way above par but there are many more ambitious dishes worth trying like the shrimp & chorizo. And the chocolate chip bread pudding is not to be missed.

The basement bakes the bread for all Blue Ribbon properties. The filet mignon is amazing. If you have room after the main course, the chocolate chip bread pudding is incredible to share.
Smoked salmon poached eggs is the best.
This place has a great menu and an amazing bread basket. Perfect for a cozy afternoon.
