People tend to check in during these times:
“It’s an anywhere road,” said Jack Kerouac, “for anybody anyhow…but no matter the road is life.” Equal parts places to trip the night fantastic, sleep in peace, dine like gourmands, or just have a libation with a friend or intimate, Thompson Hotels are timeless and of the mome...
Good for groups.
Max and Doug are the best bartenders in town ✌🏼️
Oxtail and Bone Marrow fried rice. Do it.
Lunch bento boxes are pretty aggressive portion wise. Box sushi is pretty interesting as well.
I don't even eat sushi and I'd come here for the ambiance. And the comfy booths.
Great place with amazingly friendly service and awesome cosy, dark interior!
Undercooked and overpriced, avoid the Mountain Yam skewers. Understated and overyummy, that Black Cod is definitely a winner.
We were a big group and ordered family style. Everything was excellent! (try the blue ribbon sake!)
Love the second floor bar - spacious seating and a long list of delicious drinks. Great place to wind down the night
Guacamole was surprisingly good.
Excellent sushi place for food and drinks with friends. Vegans: try the cucumber and avocado rolls. Best I've ever had.
It's aiite. Bit expensive for what it is. The 竹林 nigori sake is awesome
perfect, perfect, perfect place!
If you had to get one thing it should be the ox tail and marrow fried rice. The absolute best fried rice, ever.
The sushi is divine, but the fried chicken appetizer is not to be missed.
I've only had the sushi here and it's just "alright." It doesn't stand out from the rest. The ambiance isn't even really of a true Izakaya spot. But if you need a new date spot, this place is that.
Too good to be true. I promise. So worth it.
Oxtail rice is AMAZING.
The ambiance is top-notch. If you're in for a tasting adventure, dive into the omakase. The rest of the menu is just as delectable with a wide variety of choices. Pricey, but worth it overall.
I'm a vegetarian, so when I eat meat or fish I make sure it's well worth it. I must say Blue Ribbon isn't just hype, probably the best sushi I have ever had. Will be coming back again for sure.
Oxtail and bone marrow fried rice was amazing, among other things on the menu.
Offers wider menu options in a trendier space than the Soho restaurant. In addition to top notch sushi, the chicken liver mousse and bone marrow & oxtail rice are just as good as everyone says!
Eat at the bar. The work of the cooks is fascinating
Love the bone marrow rice. But I never leave without getting the scallop in miso butter yakatori. Love it.
I know that 'flight of vegetables' sounds like the least exciting flight since anna paquin bored us to death in 'fly away home,' but it's actually a really really good appetizer. go for it!
Bone marrow and oxtail fried rice is phenomenal
Sea scallops and miso butter skewers are incredible.
Get the pork dumplings !
Horse mackerel, amazing!
Cucumber and Pear Salad is the money
The California rolls are made with imitation crab.....
bone marrow hash oh yeaaa
The Oxtail Rice Fried Rice is pretty good however it is a bit greasy.
Oxtail & Bone Marrow Fried Rice
Be sure to try the oxtail fried rice !!
Very good and fresh sushi
Amazing sashimi! My favorite sushi restaurant in NYC! Ask for Michelle, she was an excellent waitress!
Oxtail and bone marrow fried rice.... BOMB
The pork roast is amazing. Be careful or you won't leave room for sushi!
Oxtail Fried Rice. Done.
Chicken liver mousse with challah bread is a must. I do not like chicken liver but could eat tubs of this.
Sit at the sushi bar and watch the magic happen
Sushi and fried chicken. What can go wrong? It's like chicken and waffles, but way more awesome. Also, watch the sushi chefs' line. Their talented.
Sea Scallop & Miso Butter skewers! I can eat a hundred of these.
Not great at all! It was actually the worst sushi I ever ate in my life!!!
Sit on the right side of the sushi bar, that's where the head chef creates beautiful plates of sushi
The chicken liver mousse is wonderful on a chilly night. Served with perfectly toasted bread.
Chicken wings!!! 8 pieces for good luck!
You know that famous Blue Ribbon fried chicken? Here you can get it as wings. Oh, and bone marrow fried rice. It's like Brasserie & Sushi had a baby after a one-night stand on the LES.
