The inside has lots of neat plants, but could use some upkeep. The outside is peaceful with performers and lots of grassy spots to relax.

It's only peaceful and quiet during the week. They tend to be crowded on the weekends.

Look for the scent garden in the Botanical gardens. You can rub and smell all sorts of herbs. Breathe deeply!

Nice spot to take photos as well as sit and relax. It's even better to check out the plants in the building and wonder how it could be for free.

Screaming child? Won't behave? Threaten to feed them to Haemanthus Puniceus, head first.

This place is a must-visit during the Spring/Summer when everything is in full bloom. The plants are much more dormant in the winter.

Go right before it opens on a Friday morning and listen to the bells as they chime and the doors are finally opened. Then absorb the calming atmosphere of the botanical garden.
