Maybe a decade ago, but nowadays I like getting a few streets over where it's more low key. Plus the smell is awful in lots of places, a mix of puke, sweat, and garbage in the hot, humid air.

This was such a let down. The street has so many homeless people bagging for money and the smell in certain spots is just sickening. It's like they emptied the toilets in the streets. Not that nice.

Nice and fun place for a week end evening. Try to use cash wherever possible. I had couple of instances where my card identit has been stolen and I had to replace my card after being here.

The only place in the entire country where it is legal to drink in the street. Prepare to have extreme fun and dance outside hot spots.

Be prepared for bad smells! And it's very quiet on a Tuesday night - all the bars were empty at midnight. Definitely worth a stroll but nicer bars away from here.

Kind of like a car crash. So awful but you just can't look away. No, but in reality some good times. Try out lucky Pierres, and mind the drunk guys that get a little grabby.

This place is a lot of fun on Friday and Saturday nights. It dies down on other days. People watching from the balconies can be fun.

ATTN: If you talk to any locale at bourbon st. They're either a drug dealer or most likely a prostitute. Just beware of your surroundings, I've seen too many tourist hustled
