Flying #AlaskaAir ? Make sure you are there early. They close the ticket counter 40 minutes prior to your flight.

great airport, easy to get thru. however, the nachos that are sold in the restaurant are topped with a queso that tastes like bad hummus.

TSA leaves on 08/31/2014 private company CSSI/Firstline takes over 09/01/2014. Complaint by airport board was horrible customer service but all the same employees are staying on with private company?

Love how rustic it is...and the T-Rex display downstairs is so cool

Pro tip: Bozeman is a training airport for TSA agents. Expect tougher security and strict adherence to the regulations. To their credit, the lines are much shorter now and things move quickly.

Enter security nude and you'll breeze right through.

United Airlines made me miss my flight on 12/30/13. They actually had there counter closed for 30 minutes in the morning because they were shorthanded which caused myself and others to miss our flight

This is a small local airport. Of you're friendly, security will be friendly too, but they will still take your liquids if over 3oz. They take the rules seriously.

    Julie Penner · November 21, 2013

TSA now has Per Check at this airport and this is the only airport in the state if Montana to have it!

Leave time for a beer at the Copper Horse just beyond security.

    Claude Harrison · October 26, 2013

This is a TSA training airport. Security is a little slower but that is to be expected as they are trainers working with trainees. Other than that this is a great little airport.

    Sean Gilman · October 25, 2013

World's most secure airport checkpoint. Is this place some type of top secret alien base or wormhole to another dimension here? There are less agents at the checkpoints in Atlanta? Friendly staff.....

Great strawberry drink at airport bar with yummy Hawaiian panini !!

You can't take your bear spray on the plane, so use it or donate it before flying. And, if you've forgot yours, just ask when you arrive and they'll recycle what's been taken from other travelers.

    Saul Delage · August 27, 2013

The TSA people here are crazy. Take out all your liquids and put them in separate bags or they will waste an hour of your time.

    Luca · August 3, 2013

Security was awesome! The people were awesome!

Try forgoing the two gift bags, the giant cup of coffee when trying to board with your carry-ons. It makes life so much easier.

This tip is for the airport police. Stop letting cars sit for 5 to 10 minutes or more in front of the airport. With nobody in or near the car. Same thing with baggage out front also.

    William T · June 12, 2013
  • William T.

This tip is for the airport authority. Make the airport a smoke free environment. Or at least have the airport police make people stay at least 25 feet away from the door when smoking.

    William T · June 12, 2013
  • Chamila U.

    No security lines here!

    Chamila Udukumbura · May 27, 2013

And when someone drops you off have them leave there car out front they will never get a ticket or towed.

There are coffee shops and gift shops in the main level AND upstairs beyond security. Plus, the restaurant and bar are also upstairs. For the record, my security experience was quick and painless.

    Christina B. · October 8, 2012

Security is ridiculous. They had to wipe my mandolin with the bomb detecting cloth because they saw my electronic pickup in the X-ray. I've never had that happen anywhere else in the world!

    Chris Boehner · October 2, 2012
  • LaShawn T.

Yeah...please take all lipgloss, small hand lotions, etc. and put them in a plastic bag! Security is SERIOUS here. I don't fault them though, they are only doing their job. #barneyphife
