Skip the chips and guacamole. $13.45 for a bowl and chips aren't refilled, feel like I was scammed.

The rice and beans are the best, just a little spicy. Be warned, though. In the evening the service is excruciatingly slow. It's worth it, unless you're in a hurry.

A great dinner location, with a wide variety of pulled meats: chicken, pork, beef. Try the plantains.

The last few times I have been to Brasa the food was not worth the high price. I would not recommend it- the pulled pork was dry and the green tomatoes were so thin and only 3 slices.

Most everything is great, though this critic is partial to the deeply flavored rice and pigeon peas with local ham, and the cabbage salad, an ephemeral, minty elevation of traditional cole slaw. Read more
