There's a long line so get there early. The beignets are great, especially the savory ones. Get the goat cheese and shrimp omelette in the morning and the fried chicken or shrimp and grits for lunch.

Don't order the Bloody Mary if you are expecting something delicious with alcohol in it. Theirs is neither. I'm honestly surprised that this place has such a long wait for such mediocre fare...

2.5 hour wait for a group of 8. Beignet flight: delicious. Liked the crawfish one best. Got 6 different dishes for the table. Fried chicken and po'boys were great. Eggs OK. Best was shrimp grits.

Always get the beignets. The Benedict is kinda meh. Overhyped but definitely a place to take your tourist friends and show how much SF loves brunch.

Really mediocre, in the true sense. It's fine, but just kind of bland and uninspired. This place wouldn't survive in New Orleans, but it works for the Bay if you're desperate and/or clueless.

They need to learn how to make grits. I should be able to eat it with a fork. It's too soupy. Flavor is decent. Shrimp wasn't properly shelled.

Beignets are very good. "Hangtown" was as advertised but I don't think I like that combo of oysters and eggs. Grits were excellent, and I usually don't go for it. Serving are extra large.
