Catfish is a really tasty dish!! Also, gumbo is still fantastic, as well as the original beignet!

Come here for some eggs Benedict and I tried the pulled pork one. Potato hash was terrible and without seasoning and the eggs and pork we're ok besides the spicy flavors.

The beignets are the best in town. As well as their grits. Make sure you arrive early so you're not left waiting too long. The sign up board is inside.

I expected this place to be better for the rating it has. For me it was not so delicious.

Best mac and cheese in the world. Crawfish beignets, cole slaw, fries, sandwiches, and bread pudding with bourbon sauce were all awesome.

The hostess was rude. Sandwich with different hams only tasted like pickles and olives. Omelette with shrimp and goat cheese: the shrimp was tasteless because it's just cooked in water with no salt.

The beignet is a must have for sure! The DYO omelette is really good - my suggestion : caramelized onions, mushrooms & spinach!

Line is long but you gotta time it perfectly so that you can grab yourself a Philz coffee walk around a little bit and come back. Shrimp and grits was my favorite along with the crawfish beignet 😋

The brunch wait is worth it for the perfectly seasoned savory beignets. If you also want to sample the sweet beignets — GRANNY SMITH APPLE! CHOCOLATE! — opt for the $10 beignet flight. Read more

With insane lines on the weekend (shorter during the week), Brenda's serves up delicious (and heavy/rich) dishes, including their popular beignets as well as pulled pork eggs benedict and french toast

The reflection of the ceiling fans coming off the tables may cause seizures. But the grits are great.

Beignet flight is awesome. When they have them, pumpkin pancakes are top notch. Otherwise, can't go wrong with the fried chicken Benedict

Do not miss out on the beignets. So incredibly light and fluffy and not at all greasy or heavy, it's an revelation; you won't ever go back to any ol' donuts no more.

We LOVED the choc beignets and the shrimp and grits, and the coffee. Our waiter didn't even attempt to warn us that we were ordering way too much food - shame shame. This is a must visit in SF.

Relax with NOLA food and vibes. Outstanding beignets and watermelon tea. Not too flavorful but maybe that's just Cajun cuisine.
