Every time I'm in town I must have brunch at Brenda's. The food is consistently good. Plan to wait in line for a table but definitely worth it. Go hungry, the portions are huge.

    Latanya Preston · September 12

This place is trendy, but I waited over an hour for a table and I got mediocre eggs benedict with shrimp. The poached eggs were over cooked, like hard boiled eggs. Nice biscuits and cheap.

Bloody Mary (garnished with pickled okra!)

Amazing ribs, the rice and beans was great too. Charming service in a lovely setting. Doesn't look like much from the outside but just wait! Write your name on the board and settle down inside :)

There's a long line so get there early. The beignets are great, especially the savory ones. Get the goat cheese and shrimp omelette in the morning and the fried chicken or shrimp and grits for lunch.

Amazing breakfast place. The shrimp and grits is great. All the egg dishes are awesome. I'm partial to the tofu hash.

Heard about this place. Thought it might be a lil over rated. Not at all! That line outside is serious! The food inside is fire. The tri tip had most definitely been slow cooking for hrs.

Good was outstanding. The wait on a holiday was about an hour. Shorted than expected.

  • dave d.

Don't order the Bloody Mary if you are expecting something delicious with alcohol in it. Theirs is neither. I'm honestly surprised that this place has such a long wait for such mediocre fare...

The hash is utterly horrible. Underseasoned potato will leave your mouth dry as a desert. Get the grits instead of the hash.

Really not impressed. Every waiter/waitress looked like their life was just draining out of their existence, no smiles. She took my order standing sideways, waiting to escape to the next order.
