Midtown, Manhattan, NYC, NY
Only 14 seats so make reservations. Intimate & perfect for a date night. The food is INCREDIBLE & a lil pricey, but entrees are large enough to share. My mouth is watering just typing this review...
as i write, i'm sitting on the toilet pooping my brains out. the food was yummy, but definitely gave me food poisoning. i probably wouldn't go back because of it and how expensive it was.
You have to ask for phal hot..The hottest thing on the menu..An experience not to be missed.. Any of the Brick Lane houses in NYC are great
Delicious food but fairly pricy. Very conscientious of vegans/vegetarians, however! Keep in mind: their rice is cooked with butter. Get a roti instead.
Go to Brick Lane Midtown and get the lunch special - a good sized bowl of curry, rice, vegetable of the day, lentils, naan, and dessert for $10.
$10 lunch special is amazing. Comes with rice, naan, lentils, veg of the day, main dish & dessert!
The chicken tikka is amazing every time; tender, tasty and quite filling as a single-person entree.
Lunch box to-go is same price but you can get extra naan and rice when dining in
Lamenting on the lack of sweaty, pore tingling, spicy food? Once you go Phaal, you will never complain again.
The lunch special is great. They will bring more naan, rice, and veggies if you ask...
The curries were delicious. The goat vindaloo had an extra kick to it!
The place has good reviews, but the host is unfriendly. Might consider other Indian places around!
Any of the curries are awesome! Love the ginger nann
They now have expanded seating in the adjoining area.
Slow service for a quick lunch so make sure you have time for it
The lunch special is a great deal.
I ate lunch here 40/52 weeks in 2012. It's great!
