Avoid all Indian on this street! The closest decent one at lunch is mama Thai near spitalfields or the Clifton on whitechapel. If you can handle a longer walk go to tayyabs or the Lahore kabob house.
If you like Indian, this road has a buffet! You could probably have an entire menu eaten, just by ordering one thing from each curry garden you pass. THERE ARE THAT MANY! Seriously, almost literally.
Curry house capital of Europe, very good bars (1001 or Big Chill in particular) and an authentic East London atmosphere. Brick Lane has so much to offer and is definitely worth a visit!
This road was used as the route for transporting bricks after the Great Fire of London in 1666, hence the name. It now boasts the greatest concentration of curry houses in Britain.
Rough trade is awsome, not only great vinyl and music array but often cool music events, theme park r playing l8er this month so check the website!
One of the best spot in East London. An inevitable place for new londoners et visitors. Don't forget to dive in the well known Sunday's Vintage Market !
Foodwise there are other options apart from so-so curry. Try Chez Elle for great french cuisine or the little mexican place opposite Rosa's.
There's something for everyone on Bricklane. Head north for lively, young night life or south for more local curry houses.
Come by on the weekends and find yourself in a place where young people over-dress to impress. Extremely entertaining experience!
Absolutely wonderful grafitti along this road. Curry houses offer decent food but are an utter tourist trap in any other way.
This area reminds me of a mini, clean Mumbai! Certainly beats Oak Tree road in New Jersey! Go here to spice things up a bit!
Good area to walk in, many good shops and Cafes around. You can walk to Old Spitalfields Market in Spitalfields.
Remember to pick your booze up from the local off licences as most resturant don't sell it !!!!adds to the fun
LIKE STREETART? Come early before the shops open to see artwork drawn on the shutters

Don't know how to choose a decent curry house? Brasserie is a good one!
There are many curry restaurants and vintage clothe shops.

My favorite place to visit on a sunny Sunday in London!
I don't like it when people try to lure you in their restaurant when you're just having a stroll...
Check out Oh Baby London at 162 Brick Lane for cool baby and childrenswear!!!!
