Don't be tempted with the free wi-fi sign that guides you toward Cavu and velluto coffee stands. There is a larger selection of food at the food court and you can still get the free wifi access there.

Arriving or leaving at peak times? Then the SkyTrain is the way to go... As well as beating the taxi queue (or traffic jam as you come into the airport), they have quiet carriages & WiFi.

In the bathrooms behind the car rental counters there are shower stalls. They're small and have large paper towel rolls for them, but they do well to refresh after a long trip.

Whoever you're flying with, get down the Virgin Blue end. Quantas are stuck in a '80s timewarp. They could film an episode of Ashes to Ashes down there.
