There are wide variety of objects and galleries. But galleries are not in a specific order either chronologically or thematically.
Clock section is to die for
You can see stuff stolen from all over the world all in one place.
One of the best museum ever!
The Rosetta Stone is here.

Head straight for the Great Court. What a sight to behold, especially in a sunny day.
Go early! Once the tourists start filling in you'll never see more then the tip of the Rosetta Stone! (and the entrance on the other side of the building is a less impressive but easier way to get in
Incredible collection, could spend days here, it never gets old. Perfect for everyone and extremely well run
Go for the locally British galleries, they are more informative than the foreign ones.
Cool. Not better than Louvre but still a nice place to see (and it's free).
Take a trip through time :)
Amazing museum. You should definitely see it.
It's the freaking British Museum - one of the world's best, and for free! Too bad most of the stuff really belongs in other countries...
Okay, just go there. No way you can make a mistake avoiding that.
King George III library
So much to see. It is certainly worth going on a tour, so you can full appreciate what you are looking at! 🎨
Very cool architecture. Has Easter Island statue to Rosetta Stone to the famous Japanese wave print.
Zarpado y free entry.
If you travel with bags and children you can save your money by leaving luggage on -1 floor (child section) It's surprisingly free
A big museum that is crowd with people. Come here early. Also it's free!
Make sure you visit the museum quite early as you want to have enough time to explore the museum before the 5 o'clock shut!
A must visit museum for any London tourist
It is not one of the main highlights, but the double headed Aztec serpent is marvelous. Come and see for yourself.
Massive museum. A lot of walking. Not much place to sit. Too much to see in one visit. 3 hours is enough before you want to go. Cafes and restaurant in Grand Court area. Limited tables for those.
It's free and there is so much to see. The highlights include the Parthenon, Cleopatra and a Moai. We spent most of an afternoon in here even with the kids.
of course it is the largest musem in the UK
check out the famous Rosetta Stone and many other amazing artifacts the British stole or otherwise acquired in their many years of colonizing other countries.
A place you must visit in London especially the Egypt exhibition to see those mummies
2days for visit all but very interesting. Take an audioguide, if you don't want miss a masterpiece!
Huge, with so many artifacts to see, 2 hours visit at the very least.
There are lots of cultural, religional, historical things you can see...
It is really incredible here!
Free WiFi, great history, culture
Maybe one of the biggest history museum in the world. One day NOT enough to explore all section of this museum. Free admission except special exhibition #Traveling #London
The ground floor is very crowded, but in the ones above there are also fantastic archeological treasures
Free admission. You could spend days in here. Pro tip: Take the Elevetor to the top floor and go down from there to save energy.
London's most visited tourist attraction. And for good reason.
Very good museum
The British museum is just ok in my opinion, and the cafe/restaurant is a bit overpriced! At least entry to the museum itself is free.
