As the world’s largest urban zoo, the Bronx Zoo features more than 600 species from around the globe.
The peacocks were my favorite, strutting around. Almost free as a bird, besides the fact they live in a zoo! Lots to see will come back hopefully the Tigers or the Lions
The peacocks strutting about
$20 for general admission gets you to most of the zoo. The soft serve ice cream is also one of the best I've had.
The admission price is getting very expensive. I don't like that they charge extra for all the different activities. I have already paid a small fortune to get in.
Visit World of Birds for some of the most beautiful birds in the world, including Lesser Bird of Paradise and Andean Cock-of-the-Rock.
Love this place. My kids love it. But it's always pack especially on Wednesdays cause it's free. And all the good stuff you can't see if your not playing.
Fun at zoo ! YAyo !
Le mercredi l'entrée est gratuite..!
Today was a good day for some wild life birds to show out!.. Awesome place to go with family & friends
Winter time is zoo time. Many animals love the cold and it's a completely different experience without the crowds.
Try going end of fall / beginning of winter it's really quiet and most of the animals are still around.
#Fun place to visit and spend the day. Either alone or by yourself.
Free on Wednesdays! One of the best zoos in the country easily accessible via the 2 or 5
Já fui há muito tempo atrás, lembro que valeu a pena. Vou repetir essa visita em um próxima oportunidade! Se não me engano, é o 2º maior zoológico dos USA, só atrás de San Diego.
Across from the Botanical garden and near Arthur Avenue, is the largest zoo in the US. Habitats are pretty life like and there is a tram to help you get around. Cafe is on premise if hunger strikes.
Very big and interesting
Очень красивый лес, парк, животных не так много как хотелось бы
Make sure to download the zoo map online before you go and plan a route. It's a big zoo and you can just end up going in circles- specially if you are going with a big group of kids. Parking is $15
Go on Wednesday and pay only the full experience tickets! (14.95$ instead of 28$+14.94$)
Great zoo. buy tickets for all the attractions, it's well worth it
It's huge so you can spend an entire day here and the kids aren't complaining
With family beautiful nice
If you r not a kids person don't go on Wednesday (which is entrance by donation) butterfly garden us worth paying extra! 😊
You can ride a cablecar around parts of the zoo.
peacocks and children everywhere
Awesome place! You do need the entire day to visit everything. Get the total experience ticket. DO NOT GO ON DONATION DAY!
Awesome zoo. Lots of different habitats to explore. Splurge for the full experience ticket.
Its free on Wednesdays its a cool place
Nice zoo with many things to see. Best day to visit is Wednesday which is free but attracts too many people so it will be crowded.
The zoo is great and there's lots to see. Wednesdays have suggested admission as well as discounted full experience tickets.
Love the animals!
Under no circumstances bother with the shuttle. Huge inconvenient mess.
Wish they had better pickup / drop off. (Gotta go thru the parking lot.) Nice animals tho.
Everything! Amazing place! Staff is friendly and helpful.
I LOVE IT HERE! Although Some of animals are not in their respective places, but its really fun for a family bonding
Go on Sunday less crowded
Huge zoo with plenty to see and do. The place is kept very clean.
The food is expensive so walk with your own but the exhibits are breath taking!
Head to the sea bird colony at 3:30pm to watch them feed the penguins.
Some of the exhibits here are just sad, particularly the big cats and polar bears. That said, the monorail is one of the best parts IMO. Don't be scared off by the line, it moves quickly.
When you see zoo volunteers/ employees, ask them questions! Heard some cute anecdotes about specific animals this way.
The monkeys and gorillas are awesome. Definitely get there as early as possible
If you stop by check out Jungle World. Pretty good variety as far as species. Overall good bang for your buck.
One of the most popular places that people like to explore in the Bronx is the Bronx Zoo! Great place to bring kids so they can explore a variety of different animal exhibitions and the wildlife!
Wednesdays are "Suggested Donation" days!
Coming here on a Wednesday is like walking in to welfare after 11am!!! Just don't do it lol!
