Their permanent collection is always interesting for all ages. One of my favorite places to go in New York is their Visible Storage Study Center. I could spend hours there discovering new pieces.

The borough’s largest museum is a must. With more than 1 million pieces to see, it’s easy to get lost among the Colonial era art,Egyptian antiquities & peculiar collection of South Pacific artifacts.

Very nice collection - small, but well curated. Their African Art collection is amazing and they have done a great job with their Egyptian collection: unique pieces, well presented.
