Very popular brunch spot; drinks were disappointing ;(heir idea of Irish coffee was literally a shot of Irish whisky poured into a mug of coffee)

I stop by every time I'm in Chicago, if you have to wait, it's worth it, & keep an eye on the bar, it's 1st come 1st served & you can eat there! The red velvet pancakes are so good if you want a treat

Eat at the bar, if you don't want to wait 30 min. Or make a reservation. They are slow

If you get the cranberry mimosa, heed the bartender's warning! It will spurt like a grade school science experiment if combined incorrectly.

Breakfast sliders. Choose your own meat, sausage, bacon, or Canadian bacon. Scrambled eggs with cheddar cheese on English muffin with potatoes. So good. Great portion. Get and share. Or save for later

Belgium waffle with whipped cream and topped with seasonal fruit. Waffle was great with butter. Ask for whip on the side so your waffle doesn't get soggy.

Average Benny. Undercooked eggs. Worse still was the coffee. Don't order espresso here. Maybe the worst latte I've tasted & that after asking for extra shot.

If there's a wait time, check if there are seats available at the bar - that's the best way to get seated soon.

The power breakfast was a little lacking even with my added side of bacon. With great nearby alternatives, the food needs to improve and prices lowered a tad.

Get the steak skillet with mushrooms & goat cheese--one of the best skillets I've ever had-- and the strawberry French toast bites -- delicious! Oh, and don't forget a blueberry/pomegranate mimosa!!
