Its where Carry and Big had their rehearsal dinner.. I liked the lobster egg rolls and the crying chocolate. The bad thing is you have to wait at least 35 mins even if u had a reservation a week ago!

Great food, decent prices, awesome ambiance. Consistently good. Fever cocktail is a glass of yumminess. Everything on the menu is real Chinese food. None of the starchy-MSG crap. What's not to like?

It's a-no-conversation kind of restaurant! Very loud music. Anyways i liked Wild mushroom chow fun noodles and Vegetable rice, it comes with coconut & curry foam, very delicious.

We were a group of 8, went family style, and enjoyed every single dish. Some favs: Jumbo Shrimp, edamame dumplings, scallion pancakes, green beans, potstickers, and tuna tartar. Can't wait to go back!

"Stephan Starr opts for shock-and-awe tactics at this immense dining palace (think Versailles meets Ming Dynasty). Try upscale takes on standard fare like lobster egg rolls or wild mushroom chow fun."

Tested this restaurant for the first time on my bday night with family. Even though we had a reservation and were on time, there was a 30min wait but the amazing food came out rapidly. Will go back!

We liked the first level tasting menu and were absolutely stuffed. In retrospect, if we had done the second or third menu, we would have had waaay too much food, and of course you need to try it all.

Absolutely outstanding food. Maybe the best panasian food I ever ate. The fried monkfish with chilli and the mixed starters were too good to be true. Go there. (by the way, I've found it VERY chilly)

The desserts are under-hyped here, but Vera Obias and her team do amazing things. Also, the crab hot pot is something special and if you go to a fancy Chinese dinner and skip Peking Duck you're a fool

Trendy places can serve up good food too. I try not to be suckered by the Buddhist theme but Tao & Buddakan have impressed me with their food & ambience. The food, the attitude - worth every Benjamin.

Buddakan’s bites do not disappoint. Try the delicate Edamame Dumplings, served in savory shallot Sauternes broth, or the rich Wok Fried Oyster and Foie Gras flavored with fragrant Thai basil.

Good for dates and trendy! Get tables at the below level, order the soup and shrimp dumplings. The rock shrimps are a must have. The Monkfish is definitely the best item on the menu.

Delicious food and a dark, intimate environment. The chili king crab had a delicious sauce and the black cod was like butter. The doughnuts were served with a cup of delicious jelly/cream.

Great food, beautiful ambiance but sadly horrible service. Bar tender couldn't even answer questions about the bottles of Rosé offered and waiter + host were both equally as rude.

I think this is a modern twist Chinese food place, not really a restaurant, I love the place for drinks and socializing but not so much with the food, I'm Chinese and this is not really my taste

This atmosphere is the best in NYC. If you have eaten in Nobu, food here can be characterised as usually normal, not bad though. The service could be better and more calm.
