    Guy at counter told us that Insurance was MANDATORY or we could not get the car, so my boyfriend signed the paper and did our research later, now they are saying sorry not true and cannot refund!

    Here's a tip...DON'T RENT FROM BUDGET AT THE DENVER AIRPORT. The pictures of the lines out the door and around the side of the building are accurate and not coincidental on one day.

    Beware! Budget at Denver airport tacked on unneeded fuel service at return. Even worse, at turn-in, the Budget employee did not tell me he was adding this to my bill and just handed me the receipt.

    Expect to wait an hour or more to get your car. This was the line and it loops 4 more times inside.

    These people are criminals. They fraudulently placed extra insurance charges on my credit card even though I repeatedly declined them. I will never rent from Budget again.

    NICE people, but they upsell way too much and really??? 34% airport tax??? Unorganized as well, waited multiple times outside in the freezing snow for our car. Had to go inside to ask.

    I believe the tips left on here but I didn't have any issues. While booking they had the lowest rate and the car worked well. Very little upselling thankfully.

    Long lines. Jaime was exceptional. After waiting forever for my car, he found me a suped-up Outback & I paid for a sub-economy car. A bit of a hassle to get a car, but for the price, no complaints.

    Reps were pleasant, however check-in took forever as the rep continually tried to up-sell a more expensive car. After about 20+ minutes of upselling, I convinced the rep to give me the car I ordered

    Although nice, I was deceived that the unanticipated "taxes and fees" included an undisclosed $5/day upgrade fee. When they offer you a 'better than' car at the counter, be warned, its not free.

    I'm surprised by the negative tips; the staff was nice to me, good clean car, fair price, and shuttle to airport was easy. Guess it just depends on the day/time. I'll use them again.

    The line took forever. The building was hot. We were sent to a location for a car that was not in that spot(apparently this happens a lot) but we were given a discount and free gas for the mistake!

    Make sure you're the first one off the free shuttle from the airport. Otherwise, you have to deal with long, long lines.

    If possible, rent at Quebec Street and I-70. Ask for Adam. No airport tax and you'll almost always get an upgrade.
