This one has a different vibe than my first B.E. experience on 11th st (Manhattan). This one has more hip hop styles and a funkier brooklyn flow. IDK why B.E. has such low scores. I love this place.

Usually can find some really cool pieces. No shopping bags, so bring your own if you shop. There's always a huge line for selling.

We love a good bargain! Come here to pick up some clothes or to trade or sell your old clothes. Call before lugging all your clothes here though, because they are always looking for particular items!

Cash for 30% of the item's selling price and 50% of the item's selling price in store credit. :)

BE offered $10 for three items out of a massive box of clothes I brought to them. Went to Crossroads and they took nearly the entire box for $165.

Budget 45-60 minutes to wait in line if you want to sell. Never gotten out of here in less than 45. Le sigh.

For shoppers, this place is almost always busy and selection seems really picked over. For sellers, expect long lines but the buyers here so much friendlier than those at other locations!!!

More down to earth and flexible then Beacon's Closet in terms of selling. I'd take BE's 30% over BC's 35% any day. And you won't have fashionably douchie hipsters looking down on your old rags. Sweet!

Call ahead of time to see what they are buying. This will help prioritize your load. When shopping, make a list prior as it could be overwhelming once you are inside.

The staff here is incredibly friendly and always willing to give an honest opinion. I like that things are organized by size rather than by color like at Beacon's.

Everyone who works here is beyond friendly and helpful. I kinda struck out on finding stuff but I had a an exceptional shopping experience b/c of the staff. The opposite of the cranky beacons closet s

Less crowded and waaay better organized than Beacon's closet but less to choose from. They have these up in Boston and I think in San Fran too. Friendly staff.

Prices starting around $20, for used clothing? I might as well go for brand new. At least things were relatively organized and the staff was less snotty then at Beacon's Closet.
