Amazing selection and Amazingly expensive.
Only thing crazy here is the parking!
Think mega-store, not market. A must every time I make my Mecca to Atlanta. Food lover's paradise. The most accurate description I've heard is that if Buford FM doesn't have it, it doesn't exist.
Cleanest farmers market ever!
It's my favorite store, in my opinion the prices and choices are far better than dekalb farmers market.
great russian section! try the baltika beer from st.petersburg and chocolates from moscow!
Great selection of flavourful & exotic fruits, e.g. passion fruit & dragon fruit; equally unmatchable Mexican & Korean pastries (American pastries are waaay overrated & sickening in comparison).
Great spice table and good prices too. Fresh organic and non-organic vegetables and fruits. International food available as well. Definitely a good place to shop
Love, love, love this farmers market! It's out of my way but its so much better than wholefoods and trader joes.
Curry Ketchup is on aisle 11.
Best time to go is in the A.M. It gets crowded and parking is awful past 12 P.M. Great fresh fruit and veggies, live seafood and great deal on meats.
Nice, but pales in comparison to Your Dekalb Farmer's Market (YDFM)
Find the marinated chicken in the meat section.
Great place! It's huge so have a plan of attack before you go.
a little over price of fruits and vegetables.. but on the meat seafood and bulk spices the prices out beats Krogers and or Publix
Wasn't as expensive as I thought. however, tried to buy some deli meat, after asking them to slice it thinly I was told they didn't have time for that & they will slice it thick. Bad taste in my mouth
Be sure to check out the seafood selection. They sell live crawfish by the pound when in season.
They finally opened up a cafeteria! It's right by the exit. They don't let carts in though. After checkout, you can "park" your cart before you enter the cafeteria. Even better, eat before shopping!
Parking sucks in the after- noon
Cray eastern block fortified grain drinks selection...
Best place we've found so far to buy cheap produce and try new things :) you could spend a whole day in there and not see everything! Parking can be crazy but worth it!
not exactly a farmer's market, but a regular supermarket with fresh food stock items, and multiple ethnic foods incl chinese, kor, jap, viet, thai, mex, american etc.. and many samples to try from too
Sushi is discounted in the evenings.
The Asian deli great. I wanted squid salad and they were out. So they called someone to make me some. Great service.
The parking lot is a mess..too many taxi cabs.
great produce and tasty korean pre-made food.
If you go Sunday, get there before noon. Church crowd = chaos
The Ho Tuk is an amazing pastry in the back by the sushi.
FYI - Need to open that bottle of Jarritos? Go to the food counter near the exit. It's at the cash register. Find your int'l vice here. They've got everything from arepas to char siu bao.
The guacamole cramped hot sauce is the best - back by bakery.
The produce, and the seafood are excellent. This is where i can buy Brazilian coffee in Atlanta.
They have guarana soda!!
Produce section is very clean and they carry an unbelievable variety of produce. Wish it was busier to keep that farmer's market feel atmosphere.
Anything you need for your recipe that you cannot find any place else.
Alway check to see what price your wine rings up. A bottle rang up as $14.99 when the sale price was $10.99. Third time this has happened.
Very wide and extensive selection of European, Middle Eastern and Asian products. Also has a wide variety of seafoods.
Great Croatian products, such as Joseph Kras Napolitanke in Eastern European section.
Get there early!!
Watch your wine prices at checkout. Twice I've had wine ring up more than the advertised price.
great selection of fruits and vegetables but very expensive... the best deal here will be on fresh meat and fish and a great deal on fresh herbs and spices
Plan on plenty of time - so much to see!
For fresh Seafood, come early to avoid the crowds, long lines, & waiting. Seafood Dept opens at 8:00 AM.
Why is Ghirardelli chocolate in the Italian section?
I've yet to see a farmer here.
Great place for picking up produce, meats, and seafood. Also love the imported goods area. Don't come here to pick up everyday items, that gets super expensive.
